Location, Beach, View, Food and Staff were great. Whilst the facilities could do with some investment they were still good. Very relaxing and tranquil environment
The Ferry Boat fee was far too expensive. AUD70 per person one way for a 30mins Ferry ride. Ads up to AUD280 return for two people. Whilst it is not affiliated to the resort, it felt like gauging because there were no other options. This has a indirect impact on the resort

Beautiful location, friendly helpful staff, feels secluded and very private which we loved. Good food and drinks. Great for babymoon!
It would be great to have a ferry that goes directly to one of the other neighbouring islands for some of us that love to see and experience more. Ended up going to the main land to check out Airlie beach as I was a bit bored by day 2, although this is no fault of the resort, just my preferred travelling style.

The national park and animals. Smaller friendly resort.
Transport (ferry) costs are way too high and does not meet plane timetables. No real coral at all at the beach - despite advertising. Food is gastro pub style. But way too expensive. Stand up paddles are old and broken. Resort is run down, poor fencing, not clean enough - attention to detail not there e.g. front porches need to be cleaned, welcome mats shaken. Not enough to do - just relying on the pool. Need complete change to compete with Asia. Focus on national park (maybe do overnight camping/hiking/First Nations). Do more low-cost activities (bingo, cards, quiz nites) to show friendliness of staff.
