Our stay at Hotel Heladiv was fantastic! The hotel arranged for us to be collected from the train station upon arrival which was amazing! We didn't expect that and we really appreciated it as we arrived late in the evening. It made our transfer and arrival incredibly smooth. From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were really well looked after. The staff at the hotel were incredibly polite and helpful and the hotel itself is beautiful, it is an oasis of peace and calm. Our room was clean and spacious and very comfortable and the pool was perfect! We were only there for two days but we had two amazing trips out, both organised by the hotel. We had a fantastic tuk tuk driver Ana who looked after us and showed us around Anuradhapura and we also visited Mihintale. The hotel also organised for our onwards transfer. We are so grateful for all the hotel did, especially manager Tharang Sri to make our stay memorable, and our journey smooth and easy. It is a fantastic hotel to stay in if you are visiting the area. I would absolutely 100 % recommend. Istuti Hotel Heladiv!

A beautiful quiet oasis on the edge of the city. Tananga and his staff made us feel very welcome. Room and facilities were super. Breakfasts substantial and the dinner we ate on our first night was excellent.
Nothing.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good as was the room service. The hotel grounds were beautiful.
I had enquired when booking if the hotel was accessible and was told that it was. However, the paths leading to the room were not wheelchair friendly at all and my disabled mother was confined to her room as it was very difficult for her to access any of the hotel spaces.
Though the hotel itself was pretty, the road leading to it was poorly maintained.
The owner of the hotel sat in the garden in full view of all the guest rooms and meditated and prayed in the morning. As we were having our breakfast in the veranda outside our room it was very restrictive as we were forced to speak quietly so as to not disturb someone who was praying so publicly.
