Hakim is the perfect host. He comes to pick you up and guides you to the Dar, making you feel right at home. He also helped us with great restaurant choises and even which dish we would like the best.
The Dar is beautiful and situated in a calm area while being close to all the sights.
The bathroom lay-out puts the shower right next to the toilet meaning it gets wet while showering but this is common in Marokko and handeled very elegantly in this Dar.

The young man who served us at breakfast and assisted our exit from the Medina to a taxi service demonstrated some of the best service I have ever encountered at a hotel. We were also blown away by call to prayers in the early evening from the hotels terrace, which I should add, also served as a wonderful outlook from which to absorb the city scape during breakfast.
For the traveler who is new to Morocco (as we were), and as is the case with other Moroccan cities as we learnt, the hotel is a little difficult to find. We found the local people were happy to help for a couple of euros which saved us aimless wandering around with heavy bags on a humid evening.

Our host Hakim could not have been kinder or more helpful. Excellent (and substantial) breakfast on the roof terrace. Stylish decor in the rooms and public spaces. Lovely bedrooms.

Hakim & everyone at Dar Souran were fantastic. Riad was gorgeous, location was perfect for exploring, breakfast was delicious & such a great way to start each day. Could not have picked a more perfect place to stay in Tangier.
