Regardless of my previous experience, I chose to stay again at Arcadia Suites – Kampala for one night because of its convenient location near the places I needed to visit. I was pleasantly surprised that the staff remembered me and even arranged the same room, which made me feel welcomed and valued as a returning guest.
This time, the stay was smooth, comfortable, and without any issues worth noting. The spacious room provided a relaxing environment, and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable.
For travelers seeking comfort and convenience in Kampala, Arcadia Suites is a recommended choice.

Arcadia Suites enjoys a prime location in Kampala, just a short walk from Acacia Mall, giving guests easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment options. This convenience makes it an excellent choice for travelers who value proximity to city amenities.
The rooms are spacious and well appointed, offering plenty of comfort and room to unwind after a busy day. Guests can appreciate the generous layout, which provides a sense of relaxation and privacy not always found in city hotels.
The property’s setting also allows guests to experience the vibrancy of Kampala, with the convenience of having major attractions and services within walking distance.
While the property offers a convenient location and spacious rooms, there are several aspects that could be improved to elevate the overall guest experience. One of the most pressing issues is the late night noise from outside the hotel, which often continues until the early hours of the morning. Guests would benefit greatly if the hotel invested in better soundproofing or worked with nearby establishments to reduce disturbances.
Another concern relates to maintenance and safety. During my stay, a sliding door panel unexpectedly came loose while I was closing the door to the bathroom and struck me on the head, causing a minor injury. Although I was fortunate the incident was not more serious, it underscores the importance of regular safety checks and prompt responses when hazards are reported. They come to repair it, but no apologies was offered, as I could have been more seriously injured if the nails stroke my head.
Communication with guests also requires refinement. Prior to arrival, I received multiple emails from the hotel, which eventually felt excessive, and some of the links provided did not function properly. Streamlining pre arrival communication and ensuring that all links work would create a more professional and welcoming impression.
Finally, management responsiveness is an area that needs attention. When I reported the safety incident, the manager appeared unavailable due to other commitments. Guests would feel more valued if urgent concerns were addressed promptly and with visible care, reinforcing the hotel’s commitment to guest wellbeing.
