Séjour parfait en famille, on reviendra

Emplacement calme, proche de toutes les commodités (commerce, bus, taxi, restaurants) également proche de la plage 👌visite facile de la Sagrada Familia ou de « El Rambla » à pieds en moins de 30 minutes.

Juste manque quelques ustensiles de cuisine (par exemple, il y a des verres à vin mais pas de tire-bouchon)

It's OK

- For us the location was OK, we were most of the days on the beach, no other tourist visits. - The communication before and after the stay, we forgot some stuff and the helped us to recover it. - The bed was comfy (hard mattress) however for a couple is not, as they have 2 individual beds. - We didn't use the living room at the apartment 1, the one at apartment 2 is much better (better chairs, table and decoration).

- The huge unexpected deposit and the clean rules to follow before to leave the apartment. - It is missing some hangers for the towels. In the bathroom there is just space to hang one towel on the heater. - The communication with the staff once we were in the apartment. We just asked if it would be possible to have a bit more of toilet paper (we had 2 rolls per 4 people for 3 days). If you don't do this service, it's fine. However, you should answer even if it is a negative answer.

The apartment was lovely, spacious and clean

The coded door handle was difficult and we had to try open the door a few times I didn't expect the huge security deposit and I expect to get it refunded quickly, not in 14 days...

great value stay in comfortable flat in Barcelona - no need to contact owners as everything worked well - access codes r

clean and enough space for 4 plus balcony from both bedrooms. destination was great - 10 mins from beach/arts hotel - lovely 20min walk through to gothic area/ramblas past large park and victory arch.

absolutely fine for 4 days. kitchen was adequately stocked with glasses/plates/pans for making breakfast - unlike some of the reviews which are very scathing. bunk mattresses were a bit hammock like for my 15 yr olds - but all were happy for a 4 night stay.

Serviceable

€300 deposit largest I've ever seen and it is not clearly advertised (booking said €100). Sofa missing a cushion - no reply from staff when messaged about it. Location is one of the worse parts of bcn. No duvets, only a duvet sheet not suitable for winter. Overall finish is terrible with lots of gaps between the floor and wall. Very cheap feel. Wouldn't recommend.

Small amount of damaged items in property such as external socket, table and chair. Cleanliness wasnt too good. Staines on curtains etc

Fairly central, close to metro, great little restaurant/bar nearby called Hive.

Very uncomfortable beds. Dirty windows. Intercom didn't work. Noisy guests in apartment across the hall. Check in at the Black Swan hostel not close by although staff available on whatsapp and very attentive. Took 300 euro deposit however have been told that this will be returned upon inspection.

A good place to stay for 2 families near to the beach, bars and metro.

Good location, walking distance to the beach. The apartment was big enought for 2 families.

Not very clean, the sofa was not comfortable for sleep, some things were not in very good condition in the apartment.

Superb

The location was perfect 2 diff line of metro was close by, the famous church was near by. Good source of shops and restaurants. Lidl ia like 5 mins walk Went to a nice restaurant close by.. Did have issue with the bathroom door , but they resolved it swiftly. Thanks to the team

The apartment needs renovation. The location is good, the place could be really good too, but it needs to be fixed

The location is good, in walking distance from The Ciutadella and the beach.

Obviously, the pictures of the apartment presented on Booking.com were taken many years ago. When we arrived we were really disappointed, but thanks to a manager we were moved to another apartment in the same building, that had some renovations. We were struggling all the time, missing some equipment: - the ironing board was completely broken as if it was taking part in a fight, in few days after my complaint it was swapped for a new one; - the refrigerator didn’t work properly (only the freezing part was fine); - the baking oven stopped working in case you set the timer; — the nespresso coffee machine was leaking (a half of coffee was in a cup, another half was inside the machine and on the table around it. I send the video to the costumers support, but the answer was “hello, I don't understand what is wrong with the coffee machine. It seams to be working fine”); — the shower plumbing needs to be replaced. And there was problems with communication: the support service was answering once in a while on my message on WhatsApp. And changing of one dirty towel that we found at our arrival took 3 days after my direct request to a manager. But in the end we extended our stay for few more days because we needed to stay longer in Barcelona, and we didn’t want to start over again with some issues in some different place. I attach the pictures of the first apartment, that was changed to another one (which pictures I don’t have)

A pleasant stay for a few days, but could be taken better care of.

The location is great, it is quiet, but close to the center and metro stations. There is a Lidl nearby. The access was really easy, because we got the code a few hours before arriving. It is quite spacious.

The apartment seems not that well taken care of, the cabinets don't close well, we had to buy batteries for the safe, the bathroom doors are missing a piece. There are only two big pots in the kitchen and only one knife for cutting bread.

Great location, close to shops and bars.

Very basic. One mirror in the bathroom for the whole apartment, made getting ready very tricky. Very basic selection of utensils and cutlery. Apartment in need of some TLC.

Wouldn’t recommend it to my enemy

During my stay I noticed some shortcomings. It started with the fact that we arrived at the apartment at 3:30 pm on the day of arrival and the cleaners were still there. When we asked them how long they would be, they told us that they would need another hour. In the end, however, they needed 2 hours. During these two hours, the apartment was not really habitable for us. In addition, the blinds in the master bedroom were broken, which meant that the sun was permanently shining into the room, as it was on the sunny side, which was very uncomfortable and annoying. There was also no glass in the door of the living room, which meant that guests on the sofa bed could hear everything that was happening in the hallway. This reduced the quality of sleep immensely. In addition, the sofa bed was defective. Here, the backrest bends outward. This also makes it very uncomfortable to sleep on the couch. On the balcony, one of the chairs was completely broken. This one could not be used because of this.

Superb

The apartment was nice with all the facilities one needs including a dishwasher and washing machine which is nice when traveling with kids. This was quiet, but short from everywhere near parks, shops and the beach. Suitable distance from the Gorian quarter and the center. Very short time away we wondered about something until we got an answer on chat service so good people who rent out.

One of the rooms was very hot in the morning, better blinds would have fixed it and the bathroom door couldn’t be locked.

Superb host communication, easy access (& clear instructions) with key code, fantastic location to transport, beach & local bars/restaurants.

It would have been great to have an additional mirror outside of the bathroom. That's all!

Inside the appartament there were all the things necessary in the kitchen and pillows were good

The wc was little bit broken and sometimes while doing the shower it was missing hot water for a while

great location & views, but don't be fooled by the pretty pictures

The apartment is a short walk to the beach and boardwalk & there are many grocery stores nearby. It was nice to be able to sit on the balcony. The living room was spacious and the apartment was clean. Despite the central location, it was very quiet.

This is the kind of place that looks great online and when you walk in the door, but then you discover all kinds of things that are not to standard. (1) The shower fixture was broken and was not fixed even though I texted the host to tell him and he said they would send someone over to fix it. This essentially made the shower unusable. (2) The internet is TERRIBLE. By far the worst wifi I've had at a hotel or apartment many years of traveling all over the world. I made an important call to my bank over my computer and got cut off repeatedly because the internet was so spotty. I also contacted the host about the internet, but nothing was done. I can't be the first person who has complained about this. (3) Water leaks all over the floor when you are showering because there is a large gap between the bathtub and the plastic divider. (4) The mirror in the bathroom is peeling badly and needs to be replaced. (5) The dishwasher basically doesn't work. The container holding the dishwashing detergent never opened and we ended up having to wash all the dishes again by hand. (6) There are almost no supplies in the kitchen. For example, there are no sharp knives for cooking, only a bread knife. The non-stick skillet has scratches all over it and needs to be replaced. (7) The arm of the couch is nearly falling off. (8) The front door to the building is broken. When we arrived, it was unlocked, so anyone could walk into the building (although they would need a room code to use the elevator). Given the huge gouge in the wall, it's clear that the door has been broken for a long time and the managers haven't done anything about it. For the steep price we paid, I expected a much better apartment.
