Staff was very helpful and nice; the location was close to the train station and easy to get to centre from; the room was a good size. We could see the real Hamburg, and not just the city centre.
Bed was VERY soft, and after a few night I started to feel pain in my lover back; breakfast was overpriced.

The location was fine, but it wasn't a great location for walking to restaurants, shops, etc.

The room was a good size and the breakfast was OK. A good breakfast selection and definitely do as there is nothing close by.
The bed was hard and the coffee at breakfast wasn't good. It's definitely weird with the shower in the main room with no wall!
The location is in the middle of nowhere, plus it is next to a mechanics, which were quiet though. However, it is only a 10 minute walk to the train station.
You pay for what you get so if you are only using it as a base, it does the job.
