As my wife has mobility issues I requested a ground floor room with walk in shower and was given a disabled room with wet room The room was spacious and clean meeting most of our requirements. The staff were very good particularly Sai who could not have been more helpful and obliging.
The wet room had no handrail within the curtained shower area so my wife could not standing support herself whilst I assisted her with showering. There was no shelf or anywhere to stand or store personal toilet items. The sink is really a small cloakroom handwash sink making face washing etc difficult.

Accommodation in a lovely area with easy access from the motoway network. Off street parking a bonus. Lovely pub setting..
We were placed in what appeared by its facilities the disabled room, so very spacious bathroom but no bath, and both bathroom and room mirrors were way to low down to look into 🤷‍♀️ there was an emergency light above the door (inside) that glowed green all night so room was illuminated making sleeping basically with a green light on. The TV was way too small for the room and distance from the Bed..

Lovely quaint pub with great accommodation and parking. Staff were really kind and helpful. Breakfast was really nice too
There was nothing not to like, if I was being really picky I would have liked somewhere to walk to but Bedale is a very short car journey

It was ok for one night breakfast was good
The fact that you couldn’t get a meal after 5pm on Sunday think if this should be on the website or in the information so you can decide we ended up going to NorthAllerton to get something.
Curtains in the bathroom needed cleaning as they have mould on and the hand basin is loose
