Fantastisk service, bekvämt läge och fräscht.

Läget, kort promenad till en av de bästa stränderna på ön (Charlie beach). Solstolar finns att hyra alt. köpa något på en av barerna och få tillgång till solstol. Nära emerald cave och Sabai beach, man kan paddla kajak dit. DEN FANTASTISKA PERSONALEN som är hjälpsam med allt. En kväll tog tandkrämen slut och personalen åkte in till byn och köpte till oss. Maten på boendet var jättegod men såklart något dyrare. Billig kajakuthyrning och cykeluthyrning. Rent. Har allt man behöver, tex kyl. Fick vatten varje dag.

Det enda som saknades var säkerhetsskåp.

Genau richtig hier um auszuspannen... Die Managerin Wan ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Charlie Beach ist nur in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen

Great accommodation and services at Mookies!

Really nice resort in a peaceful green spot a stone's throw from sunset beach. The bungalows are simple and very clean, very well maintained and with all you need for a chilled out stay. We were in a bungalow without AC, and it was just perfect: fan and good ventilation makes it perfect for an AC free environment and some nature reconnection. the garden is also very well kept and maintained. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, Wan is always eager to help, give suggestions for trips and explain about life in the island. The breakfast is really nice, served with quality ingredients and local fruit. The restaurant serves really nice food. The massage available at the resort is definitely a must try! Great value for money and hospitality! A pride for the Island!

Amazing place

Excellent place to stay, just a few minutes walk from the best beach on the island. Food was very good and they can arrange kayak rental, snorkelling rental and excursion at a competitive rate. Wan the host was just amazing, super friendly and runs the place smoothly!

Cozy bungalow near Farang beach

Friendly personnels, especially the owner Wan-- knowledgeable and helpful. Great location - 5 mins walk to the Farang beach Special requests were fulfilled, e.g extra pillows and Thai brekkie Free pick up from the pier upon arrival

2 medium sized water bottles were given daily. According to the check-in instructions, limiting the amount of plastic use is mentioned and encourages. But as we know drinking out of the tab is impossible here. How about getting a water dispenser for guests so that they can refill their own bottles? I know it's a long way for Thailand in terms of living sustainability, let alone living on an island. But hey, we all gotta start somewhere!

The food was good, everything clean and comfy. Very friendly and helpful stuff 5min walk to the most beautiful beach on the isand! Also a must do is the emerald cave with a kajak! But go early in the morning, later there are the tourboats.

Our group of 4 travelers from Latvia stayed at Mookies Bungalows for 2 weeks. The fact that this was the only purpose of our trip shows that we had carefully considered our choices before the long journey. Every day lived in Mookies Bungalows confirmed the correctness of our choice. Considering the fact that we were not interested in shopping and nightlife this time, this place was perfect as a natural environment where you can still enjoy the local color unspoiled by the crowded tourist infrastructure. Nearby Charlie Beach is the best on the island because it's not affected by tides, it's not crowded and there are two good beach bars where you can eat cheaply and deliciously. But nothing can compete with the excellent dinner at Mookies Bungalows restaurant, especially the grilled fish. Mookies is a 5 min walk from the beach on a small rise, which is exactly what we liked as two of our group survived the 2004 Tsunami. So when we are in this region, we choose to stay on the hill instead of the beach itself. Mookies is a clean, tidy, nicely landscaped environment with very friendly service staff. But the real gem of Mookies is its owner, Wan, who always helps guests with all kinds of needs. She even went out of her way to bring us different fruits from the mainland that you can't buy on the island. We will definitely recommend this wonderful place to our friends, and we will try to return there again!

Friendly family-run bungalows, with a peaceful garden setting. Short walk from Charlie Beach.

Mookies bungalows was the perfect stay. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. For the price, it was excellent quality. It was equipped with a fridge, big bathroom, comfy bed, and screen doors allowing a nice breeze when it cooled down at night. Bottled water was delivered every morning. There was a good size balcony at the front with a perfect view tucked away in the forest (monkeys and hornbills nearby!). The food was excellent. We enjoyed Penang curry, Pad Thai, and fruit shakes for a great price. The breakfast options (150 B) were varied and tasty! Kayak rental and massages available— staff really helpful arranging this (tide times for Emerald Cave, and flexible with weather too). Finally, the staff (family-run) were so welcoming and we felt like we were at home. Special mention to Wan, who was so friendly and accommodating in arranging taxis, kayaks, and giving advice about the island. Make sure you visit the Ko Mook supermarket where Mum works. Unfortunately one of us was unwell during our stay and Wan took control of the entire situation. She arranged medical transfers, along with a Thai speaking friend to go with us to Trang, and checked up on us over the following days. Thank you Wan! Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay for longer. We will be back!

Staff absolutely amazing, dogs amazing, location in nature close to the best beach on the island, kayak rental and snorkel equipment. Highly recommended Mookies Bungalows. Spent 9 nights there and it was the best place to unwind, relax and slow down. Very family friendly place and island in general.

Only tiny thing was the breakfast because I personally prefer real bread over toast.

Well needed tranquil getaway in nature, with welcoming hosts and a great location.

Location was amazing, really close to the beach which is great and has a fantastic restaurant overlooking the sea. Being in nature! So nice to fall asleep to the sound of frogs. Lovely staff who went out of their way to make me feel welcome and look after me ☺️ Picking me up, dropping me off, checking in, getting me a bike etc.

For the price you pay I think you get a very good deal!

The staff was just amazing. I recommend this place but don't go at the same time as me. Go in December it's better!

I was there during low season so nothing much to do there when you are alone...

amazing helpful staff but location isn’t great in low season

amazing staff and beautiful area

it was hard to access the rest of the island but that’s not a critique of the property but more just an observation of koh mook that it’s not very developed. it was low season so that probably effected why it felt so empty. the beach was incredible but note in low season there’s lots of washed up trash on the beach. also lots of giant 5ft monitor lizards around the property which is both cool and scary.

For the price and what to expect up in the hills it was great, however it is kind of primitive.

The location was great and the staff was wonderful, friendly and very accommodating! They had a coconut ready for me every morning, which was so AWESOME!

Bugs! however…they ran and got me bug spray!!🤍👍🤍

Great place to stay.

Great location with really friendly staff. Very peaceful and close to nice beach (with a couple of bars & restaurants). Can easily reach other parts of island by walking, moped or tuk tuk. Plenty of jungle to explore and lots of birds and wildlife.

Great place to relax

Friendly and sociable place in a gorgeous garden with a variety of cabins to suit all budgets. Owners and staff were great. Meals were good too. A few minutes walk from the best beach on the island where you can swim at high and low tide. Recommended

the best of the best we loved it

we loved our stay at mookies!! it was so green and had such a lovely atmosphere. Our host was one of our favourites in Thailand she was so lovely we enjoyed going back to our bungalow after walking a few minutes to again a spectacular beach! we travelled in Thailand for 3 months and this was our stand out stay. thank you so much!! we will come back soon. food was delicious also felt like you were in someone’s home

Great place to stay!

Great location on the oust side of the island. We stayed in a hard bungalow (not bamboo ones) and it was absolutely perfect. Great care is had to maintain the room. Very clean, comfortable mattress, fan. In the jungle 300m from the beach. Nice breakfast included in price of the room. The owner is really nice and helpful, she goes out of her way to make your stay confortable.
