Very clean rooms, a comfortable bed, and polite staff.

The location was excellent and so was the buffet breakfast. The staff was so friendly.
A little warm but we requested a fan and it supplemented the warm Seoul summer.

Overall a great stay in Shilla Stay. The staff spoke English and was helpful. The facilities were sufficient.
It was a little pricey for what it offers. However, the cleanliness and friendly staff make up for it.

Very good location, walkable from the train station and also had bus stop nearby connecting to many parts of Seoul. Furthermore, to and fro the airport was convenient as the airport train and limousine bus was right outside, so bringing luggage along wasnt an issue at all. Staff were very nice and friendly too, and we managed to checkin slightly earlier when we reached, so it was perfect timing. Even if we weren't able to, luggage storage was not an issue.
Centralised air-conditioning, meaning the temperature was preset - can't remember what the temp was but it was around 25 degrees celsius..? i think, around there. However, staff were helpful to provide a standing fan upon request (can call to request over the phone), and coupled with opening the window slightly helped to cool the room down.
Understand that the hotel is going environmentally friendly, however would really appreciate if bedroom slippers and toothbrush could be provided for the first round. As it is a hotel, for the price paid, I feel that it can be provided once for the guests, and any subsequent requests can be charged.
Lastly, we were woken up in the middle of the night with cigarette smell, we believe came from one of the neighbouring rooms either through the open window or toilet exhaust. It was so bad that we had to mention to the concierge, as it was a non-smoking hotel and we don't smoke. we were worried they would mistaken the smoke smell to be from us, but they were understanding and apologetic about the experience.
