I like that the place was clean and very convenient for us. We travel with our dog so we needed a pet friendly hotel and it was perfect! It was just a 3 minute walk to the central station and a few minutes walk to Sassi. It was also near the restaurants, supermarket and stores. The staff were very helpful and they helped us book our tours which we very much appreciated. I recommend this hotel to those who wants to visit Matera.

Amazing place, perfect location! Breakfast right in the place in front. Elevator, useful for the bags. There was an issue with the balcony window and was immediately fixed. Candies in the table, water, mini fridge, free snacks.

-great staff - the owner/mother doesn’t really speak English but her son is totally fluent in English and so helpful
-easy to get to location just outside the old town
-comfortable bed & pillows
-Very quiet/good soundproofing
-helpful to have an elevator- I think that’s uncommon here

I would stay here again given the chance to visit Matera again. Manager and son were very helpful and the room and bathroom was very spacious with a 2 minute walk to the piazza

The location, the room, the amenities (coffee and water were supplied regularly), the kindness of staff who were available and helpful at all times.
The lift in the building where the B&B was based, although this is not something that can be changed by the Management of Le Vie del Centro.

Very good central position for the Room , on the 2nd floor but has a lift ,

Cleanliness and coffee, kettle and snacks in room. The location was great also. Not in Sassi but a lovely walk down through the piazza to sassi sites only 10mins. Great place to stay.

The property is exactly as on the photos. it was very comfortable and clean. Perfect location- 2 mins away from the old town of Matera. The host was very nice.

Location wonderful - very near the old town. The host was very helpful and showed us everything, helping also to find a parking space.
Breakfast inclusive was in the cafe over the road. It was poor - croisant and coffee. Yes, it is the tradition in Italy but a choice of non-sweet breakfast would be welcomed.

Excellent position, AC, comfortable, super clean, even some extras like croissant, coffee, snacks, water which is a great detail.
Check-out too early, at 10am... I found that in Italy they usually want you out very early, don't know why, but it's weird... the breakfast is a croissant and a coffee (not my style)

The apartment was huge! The bathroom was clean and modern. There was a full kitchen and a washing machine. I appreciated that detergent was provided. The owner (and her son who came to translate) were very helpful in providing a map and suggestions for restaurants. The location is very good. Breakfast vouchers for a coffee and croissant at the cafe across the street were provided.

The apartment is very spacious, very clean and has a large bathroom with a walk in shower. The host was also very helpful, Providing great advice on the main areas in the old town to visit and also excellent restaurant recommendations
Parking is difficult but this applies to every street in Matera. Best to find off street parking in one of the park houses.

We arrived in the late afternoon and thus we couldn't fix our time of arrival we were in touch with the host all the time. The communication was easy and she was waiting for us. She gave us some good advices for restaurants and attractions. As it concerns the apartment it was comfortable and clean, perfectly situated to explore the city. It was very well equipped and some treats were provided.
