Very good position from which you can admire the breathtaking Matera, from the terraces on the first floor.
Unique accommodation in a cave, but with all the modern facilities.
Our room on the ground floor had no windows, natural lighting is only through the door. Also, a dehumidifier is permanently working in these rooms. But it was our choice to try this type of accommodation.
We enjoyed the small terrace in front of the room.
The room where breakfast is served is part of the cave where the wine cellar operated.

The view and the position of the place are unbeatable!
But also the care for the host, I feel we’ve been looked after, from the beginning to the end
We’ve received information about how to reach the location, where to park, where to eat and so on.. and even a special breakfast since I request something vegan (which I could have found it anyways)
The breakfast was amazing!
Minimum details:
there’s a light smell of humidity in the room, just if someone is very sensitive about
And having a shelf near the sink to place personal products would be perfect

Very good location, very authentic breakfast room in the sassi.
The room was spacious but the furniture was not good enough. The fridge in the room was making a lot of noise without properly working. Good quality of products for breakfast but poor variety.
