Our room was small but extremely well appointed, perfect for an overnight stay. If we had stayed longer upgrading to the large rooms overlooking the garden is recommended. The hostess was charming and prepared the most delicious breakfast-everything fresh and prepared individually.
The village of Exford, just an easy walk away was also an unexpected delight.

I enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden. When it got a bit chilly I moved to the comfortable long room and perused some of the interesting books provided. I had walked to the property and having a bubble bath was a fantastic way to ease my leg muscles. Breakfast was special, I particularly liked the pears poached with lemon verbena.
