Very close to lion rock and sunset point. Family running this stay is very much passionate about what they do. Food was really great

Friendly and caring family hosts. We were late back one night and our host messaged us on Booking.com but I missed the notifications so he waited to be sure we were ok. He arranged an amazing safari to Miniriya Nature Park where we saw lots of elephants and very young baby ones too! 2 eagles up close and pelican, storks and wild peacocks! Climbed Pidirungala too. What a location!All truly amazing. Deeply grateful 🙏🏾
AC was a little difficult to manage but that being said we were VERY grateful for it!

* Location: very close to Sigiriya Lion Rock exit gate
* Peaceful surroundings: lot of greenery around the property, giving it a relaxing feel.
* Comfortable room: spacious and equipped with AC, mosquito net, WiFi, hot water, blanket, towels, a hair dryer along with books, shoe rack and a first-aid box were available outside the room
Nothing as such. However couple of things:
* The approach can be quite dark at night: the path from the main road has limited lighting, so carrying a phone torch or flashlight is advisable.
* Cash payment: we paid in cash, so it’s worth keeping some local currency handy.
