The Wyndham Canterbury at San Francisco is located at the heart of downtown San Francisco. This resort is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and bars at Union Square, an two blocks from the city's world famous car system. The car system can take you to the golden gate bridge, fisherman's wharf, and china town. The resort has a fitness center, computer room, and game room. The space available for rent is a one bedroom. The space comes with a partial kitchen with an electric skillet, microwave, refrigerator, cookware and dishes. In the bedroom there is a queen size bed, flat screen TV and a bathroom. The living room has a couch that turns into a queen size sofa sleeper with a flat screen TV. There are complimentary laundry rooms on each floor of the resort building. The rental is for the entire unit. The resort amenities are shared by all resort guests. Parking is not included with the rental. Nearby self-parking is available at Butterick Garage (840 Sutter St, San Francisco, CA 94109). Compact and Standard vehicles are $40.00 per night and oversize vehicles are $50.00 per night with in/out privilege. All rates expire at 1PM on day of check out. The name provided will need to be the name of the person responsible for checking into the room. The name on the reservation with be the only one allowed to check in with the resort front desk. The remaining guests will be added at check in with the resort front desk. ANY CHANGES TO THE GUEST CONFIRMATION ONCE CONFIRMED REQUIRES A $129 CHANGE FEE. The person responsible for checking into the room with the resort front desk is required to be 21 or over with valid ID. The resort front desk requires a refundable $250.00 credit card hold at check in. The resort is a Club Wyndham Vacation Resort. The resort front desk assigns all resort rooms. The Canterbury Wyndym provided a safe, exceptionally clean and lovely base for our 5 day stay. Our room was larger than expected with a full kitchen. The beds very comfortable. We walked to Polk St every morning for breakfast. We also walked to Union square. Delightful stay!

The accommodation was a nice mini-suite. It was updated, the bed was comfortable and it had a nice kitchenette. The location was ideal and we walked almost everywhere. It is near a trolley line as well. There is renovation going on in the building but it did not start early in the morning and only occurred during the day when we out of the room. I am not sure when the renovation will be complete.

I brought my older teen daughters for their first visit to San Francisco. This condo was beautiful, spotless and very spacious! The beds were so comfortable, kitchen had everything you need and more! The staff at this beautiful property were friendly and helpful. Communication with the property manager was easy and he was very responsive. This was all a the front end. We had no issues and didn't require any communication during out trip. You cannot beat this location! It's just a few blocks from Powell Street to hop on the Cable Cars and a few minutes' walk to Union Square. Lots of shopping, restaurants and a Trader Joe's for food. We went to a basketball game at Chase Center and the train took us straight there from Union Square. We were in for 4 days and crammed so much in those few days. This location made it easy to do it all. Such a lovely space to come back to at the end of busy days. We'll be back and will book here again!

Beautifully kept and quiet hotel just a few blocks from busy Union Square, but close to public transportation and restaurants. Service was excellent. The room was awesome. Bedroom was separate from living room and kitchen. Plenty of storage for 2 people for a week. Highly recommend.

Lots of restaurants nearby and easy access to everything. Was great being at an actual hotel with security and staff- everyone was friendly. I saw reviews where people were asked to join the vacation club but since I was traveling without my spouse they never asked, thankfully. It was a great stay and nice to have a little fridge and microwave

Was walking/public transportation distance to all touristy things San Francisco. The neighborhood can be a little sketchy one block up or down but the street we stayed on was nice. Check in process is easy communication is great. Concierge helped out with recommendations. Would stay here again

Good location,. We used Lyft/Uber to get around. We walked to Whole Foods about 30 min each way. Everyone at Cambridge was friendly, professional and accommodating. This VRBO does not have a fully stocked kitchen since it is a kitchenette. They do provide a hot plate if need.ed. There is salt// pepper, Bring sandwich bags just in case and spices if you like to cook.

Checking in was easy and quick; the staff were nice, helpful and polite. Checking out also was very quick. I remember reading some reviews that this condo is a time share property; I was never approached for any presentation about the time share. The location is near public transportations, no garage in the facility but there is a garage next door for a fee. Most tourists must see places in the city are nearby for a walk or near enough that Huber price is not so expensive. We did not go to the Bay Areas, Napa, Sonora areas so we didn’t rent a car. Restaurants are within walking distance especially McDonald, Starbucks. We also had dinner at Pa’aina and a Japanese restaurant a block away. CVS is about 4 stop lights away. Our unit has Microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher. Towels, shampoo, soap and lotion were provided along with laundry soap. There are washers and dryers, a little gym which is sufficient for my needs. My husband and teenage son used the recreational room’s pool table. There was even a media room with computer and printer in case you need one. I gave a score of 4 because I never give a perfect score. I believe that there’s always a room for improvement. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Having the security guard in front by the entrance also made me feel secure.
