Situated in Rio Grande, this lovely villa for $362 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Ocean Villas is a beachfront, luxury condominium complex inside the gated grounds of the world-renowned major resort (see property address for resort name). The resort is adjacent to the awe-inspiring El Yunque rainforest, yet only a 30-minute drive to the city of San Juan. The Ocean Villas complex has three private pools (lap pool, infinity pool, kids' pool), a hot tub and a huge expansive beach providing easy access to the warm Caribbean Sea. You will have a relaxing tropical experience while a 5-minute stroll to the hotel gives you access to the excitement and nightlife of the resort's numerous entertainment options including restaurants and a full-service casino. Our villa is located on floor 2, which gives it amazing, unobstructed views of the beach. The photos on our listing were taken from the villa, and were not zoomed in... you really will be that close to the beach and Ocean Villas pool complex!

We had a wonderful week- condo, property and location were just as advertised. I have stayed in other short term rentals that offer a bit more in terms of supplies in kitchen and bathroom but we had what we needed. We appreciated the washer/dryer too.
King bed in bedroom was super comfortable and we loved the black out shades. The leather futons in living room were fine for our teen, but not the most comfortable to sleep on.
We loved the long beach, quiet pool, and being so close to the nearby resort so we could use it as we chose.
Overall it was just as advertised and we would go back!

The condo is a little slice of heaven and we really enjoyed our stay! It's very well equipped and has everything one could possibly need for a nice relaxing vacation.
The bed is comfy, the view is beautiful and the pool is only a few steps away.
It's also very convenient having the Wyndham next door for little odds and ends or just to grab a meal. We hope to be visit again soon!

Beautiful place with so much to offer. The hosts were gracious and wonderful. Even check in on us during our stat (When does that happen!) The poctures are exactly what you get. The unit, the complex and the ammenries are a 10! The owners gave great information on things to do and places to see while we enjoyed our stay. The unit clean, the bed (super comfy) right down to the pillows. My only regret is not staying longer. Thank you Taylor and John, your home is beautiful and we felt like it was our own! Many thanks and highly recommended. We will be back.

My partner and I were looking for a quiet beachfront getaway with access to amenities and this villa did not disappoint! The view was amazing from the 2nd floor villa and access to both a pool and beach was great. We really enjoyed our stay. The villa was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Every morning we had our coffee on the patio listening to the surf. We liked having access to the hotel amenities for restaurant options, bars, casino, etc...; but we were also close enough to local options and towns like Luquillo and Fajardo. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Taylor and John!

Everything about this place was exceptional. Believe it or not the pictures DO NOT do this place justice. The views, location, amenities were all beyond our expectations. You feel much closer to the water than what you see in the pics. Condo was clean and plenty of room for our family of 4. 2 adults and 2 grown teens. Fold out beds were obviously not as comfortable as a real mattress, but they worked for us. Rio Mar resort is absolutely beautiful. Pools are clean and always a good temperature to cool off. Resort next door was great for casino, restaurants, shops and early morning specialty coffees. Beach is very nice and groomed every morning. Water is amazing. If it's windy the water gets a little murky right at the shore but on calmer days, it's very clear even at waist deep depths. If you're a golfer, definitely bring the sticks! The 2 courses at the resort are amazing. A little pricey but worth it. Can't say enough good things about this condo and locations. Resort is gated and well run. The owners were very helpful with any questions or concerns we had. Overall, a 9.5 out of 10 for us. Only real complaint was with the property management company that did not reach out to set up a meeting time when we got there. It was a little confusing on where to find our parking and entry to the condo. However, we got in late and it was dark so that didn't help. If you want a private on beach experience, this IS IT! We will definitely be back!!!

For us and our 18 year old daughter, this was the PERFECT place to spend a week together before she leaves for college. The unit was everything it was advertised - .the balcony was amazing and the views spectacular! It was great for us to have the peace and solitude of the condo AND be so close to the bars/action at the Wyndham. I know summer is a slower period but the condo side was almost empty, it was like we had our own private beach and pool! We never saw more than maybe a dozen people total on the beach - it was GLORIOUS! Don't hesitate, book your stay today! Taylor was very quick to respond to all of my questions before and during the stay. The condo side is going thru some renovations and repairs but nothing major and certainly nothing that impacted our stay!

The perks were very good for the price point. The balcony and view were outstanding. The property wasn't overly crowded so finding chairs at the pool was easy and the opposite beach experience from the crowded Florida beaches. The location was good for being able to go back to San Juan but also close enough to the ferry and other excursions on the east coast.
The money we saved by having the teenagers sleep on the futons paid for some excursions. They were tired enough every night that not having a mattress was not a problem.
We had one maintenance issue but the owners were eager to help get a resolution even though the mgmt people initially put us off.
Overall a great trip.

This was our 4th visit to the villas at Wyndham Rio Mar but our first staying within the Ocean Villas complex and I’m not sure it could be beat! The condo had all of the basics for a wonderful stay - the real show stopper is the view overlooking the pools straight to the ocean. We loved the ease of access to the pools and we mostly had them to ourselves. The resort restaurants and amenities like the fitness center are a quick walk along the beach.
While in PR this time around we visited Culebra (Flamenco Beach is amazing!) and Vieques (the wild horses everywhere were magical) by ferry. We spent a day eating at the kiosks at Luquillo and enjoying the beach there. We also spent a day at the rainforest which is very close by. We love taking back roads and exploring the island. This trip we found a new amazing breakfast spot in Fajardo - La Vista, this place was so special with the owner Gladys sharing hugs, gorgeous views and the best coconut banana pancakes there ever was.
Thank you to John and Taylor for the perfect spot for our latest trip to PR (from Maine!). We hope to visit again someday!

The Villa was everything we hoped for and more. The view was exceptional! We had the pools and beach basically to ourselves, and the location was spot on. We really appreciated the owners prompt communication, and it made us feel very at home. The villa was spacious, clean, and even better than the photos. I will greatly miss morning coffee on the expansive porch overlooking the ocean. We can’t all wait to come back an explore some more. This was our first time in PR and we know this is where we will desire to stay again. Sand dollar and sea glass hunts were part of our daily routine. The villa comes very equitpt with everything you need. We left two great boogie boards behind for others to use. Our 8 yrs old loved catching the waves! Wonderful memories were made.

A fantastic escape. The property matches the pictures and descriptions perfectly. Zero unpleasant surprises. Check in and out was flawless. Communication was top notch with the hosts. We spent every morning, and ended every evening enjoying the view off the deck. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful property ! The view and proximity of/to the beach are exactly as pictured ! We went for relaxation and we got it . The location is so quite. The wildlife sounds at night were incredible. Excellent vacation! Only tiny complaint is the tv in the living room was difficult to use .

My wife and I had such a pleasant stay. The condo is in great shape and had everything we needed. It was also incredibly quiet and peaceful. But the best part is the LOCATION. The condo was right above the pools and had a direct view (and access) to the ocean, just a few hundred steps away.
We swam, boogie boarded (provided), walked the beach and just relaxed.

Peaceful in paradise
We had the most amazing view, it was like a postcard. It was a very comfortable condo, we enjoyed the upgraded kitchen and the very quick and easy walk to the pool and beach. The grounds were beautiful with colored trees and landscaping and a backdrop of the mountains. After visiting San Juan for a day trip we were so glad we stayed here instead of closer to the city. It was quiet, peaceful and very clean. We loved our trip!

Look No Further - Amazing!
This was a perfect experience. The villa was amazing and the owner was excellent. We were nearly the only people on the beach, which is only a few steps outside the villa. Stocked and setup perfectly for our family of 4. Kids ages 12 and 8 loved it too. Pools are fantastic!

The condo exceeded our expectations. We loved the convenient beach access and waking up to the ocean views. The resort is walking distance which was also convenient with the many nice restaurant options available. The entire community is beautiful. Communication was great with the hosts, they made sure we had everything we needed and provided many local recommendations. We would definitely stay here again!
