Entspannter Aufenthalt - hätte länger bleiben können als 3 Nächte

Bungalow zweckmäßig. Matratze war sehr gut. Badezimmer lässt sich als safe verwenden, wenn mann ein Schloss mitbringt. Entspannte Atmosphäre.

Die Terrasse könnte schöner gestaltet sein, zum Beispiel Tische und Stühle außerhalb. Musik wäre auch ganz nett.

One of the best budget-accommodation in Matemwe

Calm and laid-back. Fantastic sea view. Good food. Mohammed is a nice host always willing to help.

Wifi doesn't work in the bungalows. Told the manager to install signal amplification.

Great little getaway in quiet Matemwe!

Went on a diving excursion off Mnemba Atoll and decided to stay at this quaint beach-front hotel due its excellent location in a quiet area but well-situated to a great selection lowkey-restaurants and diveshops doing daily excursions. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the wonderful (namesake) owner Mohammed who has created a lovely, value-worthy atmosphere with his family in the quiet area of Matemwe. Additionally, it is worth mentioning the great quality of food at the restaurant which was reasonably-priced and had a great selection of fresh seafood options.

We stayed 4 nights at Mohammed’s bungalow. The rooms are directly to beach and very clean. The rooms contain two double beds, vans an a good bathroom with good working warm Shower. They have a very comfortable beach terrace with a nice bar and very good restaurant with delicious food. We really enjoyed the catch’s of day! Mohammed is a very kind Hosts and has a really kind family which always helps you if you need anything like driver for example! Mohammed also organized a driver for pick up at the airport! Next time in Zanzibar we are definitely come back to Mohamed!

Lovely family who helped us organise everything, using locals. We had our own snorkelling and fishing equipment which helped.

a quiet and nice place directly at the beach

The location directly at the beach is very nice. The bungalows are simple but very clean . The owner family and the stuff is very friendly and the restaurant very tasty. I would come back!

Simple, quiet, memorable

I enjoyed some very simple quiet time here. The owner family are very nice people. Fish cooked was delicious. When I left I forgot my charger and Mohammad drove to catch up to me. I appreciate so much.

Lovely place located right on the beach

Mohammed and his family are great people, so nice and helpful. They made us feel like home. The location is amazing, you can eat breakfest looking at the beautiful ocean. The food is also really good. It's a great spot for divers. Next door there is a very nice diving center Blue Wave Diving.

My stay at Mohammed was the worst I ever seen.

Nothing went well. The man is acting like a "gangster of Business of Tourism". You should tell him to change that behaviour, treating visitors as his slaves, will poses problems in the future. If I knew, I wouldn't book for his Bungalow.

I did not like my room, the worst one. They don't clean it every day and I did not like how and he treated me and my family. If he refused to serve breakfast whereas he owed a table. He doesn't provide wifi even though your website says available internet. Visitors are required to move to connect themselves to their mobile phone wifi. Moreover, He seized my passport against international standards of hosting tourists. I don't agree with him nor you (Booking.com), then requested my money, He refounded it and I went elsewhere. In conclusion, I won't recommend this Mohammed Bungalows:

Perfect spot for a lovely holiday

Mohammed is an amazing host! His approach to customer service is top notch. The driver he sends to collect you at the airport is wonderful too. The beds are so comfortable and the showers have hot water. The view is wonderful.

Wifi was iffy but you're on an island on vacation so it didn't matter so much - it was always fixed quickly so again not really an issue

Jewel of a spot in Zanzi

The host Mohammed is awesome. Always willing to help and is always friendly. Food is great and at a great price comparatively to other restaurants. For an affordable rustic holiday, this is it. Beach is amazing and so is the snorkeling.

The communication, the owner lied to me and refuses to answer his whatsapp. The rooms was full of insects and the bedsheets where dirty(see picture) ( On arrival I had to ask him to change them because it was unacceptable) Bathroom with used toilet paper (see picture) Room with no curtains Food is not good and the water costs 3,500 Tsh!
