We were only able to stay at Zuri for 2 nights because it was almost fully booked, and honestly, our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. This was simply the BEST!! hotel we have ever stayed at, and we really hope to come back for a much longer stay.
The whole resort feels completely immersed in nature. Even just walking to the restaurant is peaceful. The beautiful wooden architecture blends perfectly with the surroundings, and everything feels thoughtful and sustainable.
Our room was incredible, with a beautiful garden, hammock, jacuzzi and the most relaxing atmosphere. But the sleeping experience deserves a special mention! The bed and pillows were unbelievably comfortable, and on top of the AC and ceiling fan, there was a cooling system inside the bed itself, something we had never experienced before and instantly became obsessed with. We slept perfectly every single night.
The food was beyond anything I could describe, and the beach, ocean and sunsets are absolutely breathtaking. Definitely try the calamari by the beach!
What made our stay even more special, though, was the people. We arrived in Zanzibar after travelling from mainland Tanzania and one of our suitcases had been lost along the way. Joshua went above and beyond, even helping us track it down and get it back. This was just one of the many things he did to make our honeymoon unforgettable.
A huge thank you to Joshua and the entire Zuri team. Two nights were nowhere near enough. We truly hope to be back very soon! ❤️

The hotel was exquisite, the rooms luxurious, breakfast was expansive, the staff were friendly and helpful and there were great activities on offer (sports, spa, yoga), I loved how quiet the Zuri stretch of beach was, the spa was wonderful!
Could not fault Zuri on anything, it was wonderful!
