Location is excellent, staff were amazing and very helpful. The breakfast was tasty, pancakes were my highlight and the fruits. Everyone was so hospitable and the rooms were so clean.
Days moved so fast, can't wait to come back.

It's a very nice hotel which does look like a small oasis, very green and pretty. It doesn't have a big territory, but is well-kept, has a decently sized pool (which is open until 22:00!) and places to relax around it, so it didn't feel crowded. Our room was clean and spacious, with nice design and such pleasant touches as a coffee machine, slippers, dental kits and a bag for beach towels. The room was cleaned every day, and beach towels can be replaced whenever you need. We really appreciated having hot water with good pressure in the shower, as it is not something to be taken for granted in Tanzania. The personnel is very welcoming and helpful. A small misunderstanding we had regarding our booking was resolved in a fast and friendly manner to our satisfaction. The breakfast has several options to choose from, and each option comes with an additional plate of fruit, a glass of juice, and a cup of tea or coffee of your choice. We also ate lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant several times, as it's convenient and the prices are reasonable (the same dishes at a beachfront restaurant will cost much more).
The power supply is rather unstable (which seems to be a general Zanzibar problem, not the hotel's fault), and outages did happen quite often, cutting off both Internet, lights and water, but during our one-week stay they only lasted for several minutes at a time (I assume they just switch to the generator when it happens). Having read about it in other reviews, we came prepared with powerbanks and torch lights, but didn't need them (you do need an adapter if you are coming from Europe as the power outlets are not the same type). Not all personnel speaks good English (but they are all extremely friendly and will get you someone else if they don't understand what you want). The road from the hotel to the beach does leave much to be desired, but it takes only several minutes to get there. Not a drawback as such, but something to be ready for: they do not serve alcohol as a hotel policy (but we drank beer that we bought at a store nearby and they didn't seem to have anything against it, or at least didn't say anything). But there is a bar where you can buy soft drinks, smoothies and ice cream.

Eigenaar die niet mee werkt aan de tekortkomingen van het hotel. Personeel die bang is om eerlijk te zijn, manager Valentina die niets voor ons kon betekenen.
Kamers totaal anders dan op de foto’s , ontbijt erg beperkt en je moer extra bijbetalen als
Je nog een portie wilt.
Lekkende airco’s, veel schimmel. Alles is verouderd.
Zeker geen aanrader!
Wij zijn teleurgesteld in zoveel Booking als de eigenaar van het verblijf.
Bij de aankomst was onze kamer niet eens beschikbaar.
Lang verhaal kort , de rest is te lezen in de foto’s.
