The rooms are spacious and as advertised. The staff are absolutely superb, so friendly, always smiling and happy to assist with whatever they can. The staff are the best thing about this place and they are a credit to themselves and really made our stay extra special. They are difference makers and we had some lovely chats and interactions with them. The resort itself, has a nice relaxed vibe and in the perfect location with so much to do close by. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nungwi and should we visit Zanzibar again would stay here for a portion of our trip again. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.
The water went off a couple times during our stay which was somewhat expected for Zanzibar. The air con could probably do with being upgraded or fixed as it wasn’t the best at cooling the room as much as we would have wanted, however we are from England and so probably like it cooler than most. It was still comfortable and the fan on the ceiling did help. There was no bin in the room and rubbish was not taken away by the cleaners so perhaps as a little detail this could be improved. The restaurant also seemed to often have a lack of change for even small notes of dollars, and so would often have to wait to get change but this again is a minor thing.

The staff was amaizing, the rooms were being cleaned every morning to perfection. The food was good, not great so they could work a little on that.Location was amazing next to the beach, sunbeds very nice with view of sea and staff were replacing towels and sunbeds very often.
wifi is not good a lot of disconnections and hard to stay connected when in the room. the AC didnt work almost 90% of the time but they have a ceiling fan and it cools the room very good. it would be a good idea to put newer furniture and more comfortable mattresses and pillows since they were a bit hard. This has nothing to do with hotel however the street vendors at the beach are extremely annoying and they dont let u spend time in peace for more than 5 minutes without aggressively following you trying to sell you something overpriced.

As someone who has traveled to dozens of countries and more than 170 cities worldwide: A fantastic location. A wonderful sea. It is a place where you can enjoy the different shades of blue and the white sands. Attentive and friendly staff. It is a hotel you can choose to stay at around Nungwi and Kendwa. The owner is Turkish; Mr. Mert is very caring and smiling, and we had the chance to meet him in person. He helped us with many things. We found out that they also run a tour agency and organize excursions. We had already arranged our Safari tour to the Selous region before arriving; had we known, we would have booked it through them. For the last day of our Zanzibar-Tanzania tour, we arranged a trip with Mr. Ali to the popular locations on the island.
Its advantages compared to other hotels are that the food is delicious; you can also choose it for lunch and dinner. It was stated that their food is halal, which is very important for Muslims; for example, the famous restaurant right next door served pork. Touts and street vendors cannot approach the premises, which is a very important advantage as it allows you to have an isolated and peaceful holiday. At other beach restaurants and hotels, these types of people can be a nuisance. The staff is warm and attentive.
I recommend that people arriving at midnight via Turkish Airlines book a place in the center, in Stone Town, for their first night. We arrived around 5 AM but were only able to check in around 1 PM; this was the biggest downside we experienced.
