Altogether just right.

The location is excellent apart from having to climb five flights of stairs. Very quiet at nighttime despite being right in the centre of Barcelona. Only an eight or nine minute walk to the Sagrada Familia which was perfect for me. The host is a very warm friendly person who responded immediately to any queries I had and gave me excellent information. He tries hard to please and was very accommodating. There were plenty of teas, coffee, and some water and a beer left for me, also some fruit and fruit juice - much appreciated after a long journey. You can see the top of the towers of the Sagrada Familia from the back of the apartment.

There was no folder or notes so it was difficult to find the relevant wifi password. I thought that 25 euros late checking in fee was quite a lot, this can go up to 50 euros after 11pm. However, my host waived the 50 when I arrived very late (owing to my taxi not turning up on time) and only charged the 25, and he was warm and friendly, very kind and likeable.

owner, Arian, is very friendly, explained everything about apartment. apartment itself has everything you need, even more - like outlet adapters , welcome drinks, coffee machine , and importantly - AC! Patio is beautiful, and it was a pleasure to drink coffee and read a book in the morning before it gets hot outside. a big thanks for helping with bringing up and down a luggage!

Misleading Listing – Not a Real Penthouse

The location of the flat is good, it was very clean and that the owner check me in earlier which i am appreciated for it.

All the good they have is completely erased by the following: 1. i tried to give a feedback to the owner, but was not really possible as his attitude was very defensive. 2. The apartment is advertised as a penthouse with a terrace, but in reality, it’s a buhardilla — a small attic space that used to be for concierges, not a luxury apartment. The terrace shown is communal, not private, and anyone can access it freely. On one occasion, five teenagers were on the terrace with loud music right outside the apartment, and since the entrance door is glass, privacy was nonexistent. see the pictures. 3. Other downsides: The curtains are not very well maintained. A €200 deposit is required. You’re charged extra if you check in after 8 PM or check out on Sundays. The host implied that checking in on weekends or outside office hours is a big favor — but given the price, I found that attitude unfair. I tried to rate the stay as objectively as possible. If you’re okay with a shared terrace, low privacy, and extra fees, it may still suit you. But it’s definitely not the penthouse experience the listing promises.

Den fedeste terrasse lige uden for vores lejlighed. Sødeste og meget hjælpsom vært. Hyggeligt og roligt område, og alligevel ikke langt at gå til de store seværdigheder. :-)

Lejligheden var noget mindre end hvad billederne viste/vi forventede, men måske vi ikke har foretaget nok researce. Ingen dør til bad/toilet, bare en plexiglaslåge.

la terrasse est magnifique. l'appartement est sympa.

les portes ferment mal ce qui fait que l'on entend tout ce qu'il se passe dehors, difficile pour dormir. Pas de volet ou gros rideau dans la chambre, du il fait jour. beaucoup trop de marche.
