Comfy beds Quiet and sunny Not far from the beach Very friendly cleaning personnel

Hot Water in the shower had almost no pressure Credit card got charged before check-in. We would have preferred other payment method but change was not possible

Disapointing

New flooring,clean bedding.

I normally dont like giving bad reviews but for the sake of others I think the owner should finish renovating the units before renting them out. It was a 5 hour drive not 3 hours as the info said, cause of road closures. So we arrived late. Had no phone reception on the back roads so could not let owner know we were going to be late, neither did they give us the unit or lock box number before they closed or tried to phone or text. The office werent at the location either, was at another location. Phoned the emergency number 3 times before I got reaction. Owner gave me the right adress and met us there but stayed in her car. The toilet were loose on one side and had a hole in the floor under the vinal flooring. Stepped through it on our last day, sorry. When I wanted to prepare dinner there was only one small pot and pan without lid and was badly damaged,teflon peeling off. Wont even use it for a dog. Stove knobs were dirty, cutlery drawer dirty. Cobwebs and spiders in closets. Microwave dish to big to fit inside. Could not cook. Had to go buy a pot and pan to cook. Did not even dare to look inside the oven...3 Dining chairs for 4 people, 3 seating spaces in lounge also for 4 people. Couch was warn,not as pictures. Kids stack bed was squeeky they woke up from it at night,had no good rest so I had 2 grumpy teens this whole weekend. We have stayed in nicer places for the same price and cheaper, much nicer and better equipped. I dont mind places being old but at least keep it clean and supply usable cookware. Also not enough towel racks. Fridge door had no shelving. Units at the back was very close and elevated so going to the loo they could look inside ober the fence. Poor privacy. This put a damper on our holiday.

PLEASE DONT THINK OF STAYING HERE. TERRIBLE PLACE

The property is not clean and lot of cockroaches and spider web. The photos and description is misleading. Very poor WiFi. TV remote not working. mentioning laundry which is in a different building and additional payment plus not a clean place. Kettle or kitchen utensils are not in hygienic. The utensils drawer was smelling. Power was cutting off and found the mains dripping, informed the contact person over phone and his reply was live with it for that night. I booked for just one night and have to stay with out power. Then he came and was arrogant and asking what I did to loose the power. More over the property is not safe and secured. Was a terrible night at the property. Booking.com customer care is just saying a sorry for that. It’s booking.com’s responsibility to make sure whether they are advertising the right kind of property or not. Terrible place to live.

Pleasant

This place needs renovation. It is very dated. It was acceptable if the price wasn't so high. Overall We felt we paid a lot but got little value for money. Also, we haven't seen the crew even once - all communication was via text messages. Again, that was acceptable for a lower price, but not for the price we paid.

Do your due diligence before you stay here!!

When we arrived at the property the unit was not to expectation according to the photos on Booking.com. We could not secure the unit or our belongings inside due to the window latches all broken & unlockable. The exterior of the units and surroundings is extremely run-down. We phoned reception immediately and management agreed to let us cancel the stay as our boat and belongings were not able to be secure, of which we agreed with management to forfeit 1x night's fee & we found accommodation elsewhere - we did not stay here. A week later I was still hounding the management of the units and Booking.com to receive my refund of the already paid x5 nights. Booking.com blamed Te Tiriti units & the units blamed Booking.com. All I received in refund was equivalent to 2.5 nights (50% of of the fee) despite them agreeing to only deduct 1x night stay.... be careful, this property breaks their agreement & Booking.com couldn't care less.

unfortunately the stay wasn’t as nice as we expected. the shower didnt work, neither the sink. there were ants and spiders everywhere in the apartment. the apartment smelled so bad, like mold. the wi-fi didnt work as well. when we tried to reach the manager to get help or a refund, she blocked us and messages haven’t been delivered.

Had a great time

First impression of the property I did not like it by looks alone but after seeing our room I was happily impressed. Good size place, very clean and comfortable beds, tidy bathroom, had all the facillities we needed to have a comfortable stay

good for the price

private for the family and kids. good parking for boat staff was really good to deal with.

room was still dirty from last guest, was moved to another unit straight away which was nice clean and was better layout than the original unit booked. . the neighbour motel room played music loud. but stopped about 10pm . which made sleeping for the kids hard

Location for Treaty Grounds visit made this place fine for us

The lady at the office helped us store luggage and showed us to a unit a couple of blocks from the Motel office which really helped us. Location perfect to walk across to Treaty Grounds.

communication about easy check in to the located unit rather than chancing on someone in office off site. Pull out sofa very uncomfortable. Shower pressure low.

The staff were extremely friendly & were very helpful;

There were a couple of things that we felt could be improved on in the unit that wouldve made our stay more pleasant: 1. Net curtains on sliding door & bedroom windows to provide daytime privacy in the unit; 2. The shower seat should be properly cleaned between guests as the seat still had hair on it from a previous guest which wasn't nice to see; attention to cleaning detail is a must & we felt this was lacking in the unit most noticeable in the bathroom 3. Outside lights from other units were left on through the night which reflected into our bed room - found this most annoying 4. To add to matters our unit missed getting its daily clean which made things even more uncomfortable

It was excellent!

The location is near the beach and near a grocery store (Countdown) so it is very convenient for us. It's peaceful and quite. We have a lot of privacy. Unfortunately the playground is small and not well maintained.

There is a small playground in the area near our lodge but it is small and not well maintained. It will be awesome and can add value to the hotel if the playground is improve so that those families with kids and little one can enjoy playing.

Anita was very helpful and lovely to deal with

Flooring in bathroom was soft in places and my husband was worried that he was going to fall through. No knives for cutting food, fish, meat etc. Locals not that friendly

Liked the convenience of being close to beaches, the pou’s in paddock out the front, Waitangi and countdown.

The surroundings of the property could do with a tidy up, the units and house could do with a bit of a tidy around the outside eg. Deck, stairs etc

The nicest units weve booked in Paihia. We normally stay at motels/hotels but there units were worth the price. Very clean, homely,comfortable and warm 😊
