A really good option for a short stay, clost to the centre of Wells and with car parking on site. Julia was attentive to

Clean, comfortable and very convenient for Wells. Having the facility to park a car was a real bonus as most of the City accommodation does not provide either space or access to car parks close by!

Perhaps the not having a breakfast capability on site but Julia (proprietor) did provide a small selection of eats suitable on which to snack in lieu. No problem really as there are cafes nearby.

Spot on, will definitely return when staying in Wells.

Location was perfect for what we wanted, and the host was very accommodating. The room was immaculate and despite the size had all the facilities we needed.

Comfortable and close to Wells

Very convenient to Wells and nearby restaurants. Julie recommended excellent places and we enjoyed them all. It was easy to self check-in as we had to leave early both mornings.

Had a lovely time

The snacks and fruit that was provided were great. Lovely room, great location for visiting Wells. Julie was very helpful when I accidently locked myself out of my room!

Had to wedge the window open with a towel as it wouldn't stay open and it was far too hot to leave the window closed. The window was very heavy, luckily a friend was staying in another room and she helped me wedge it open. The main lights in the bathroom didn't work but the vanity ones did.

Exceptional

Great location (close to Wells centre and safe also), clean, comfortable beds, good shower. Was a perfect place for us (2 people) to use as a base and explore Wells, Cheddar and Glastonbury.

entrance, the host was fabulous

third bed very noisy, but think bed was suitable for child not adult, could have been more products in shower, 2 x shampoos only and soap pump didn't work, could have been a blanket for beds as a little chilly

Comfortable room only stay in easy walking distance of Cathedral and Town

Room was very clean, warm in February. En Suite Toilet/Shower also clean and warm. The Bed was comfortable, the TV worked well. It was room only and each day I had a Pain au chocolate, Porridge Pot, pack of biscuits, fruit bowel and plenty of tea, Coffee and milk. 400m walk to a Witherspoons pub, easy walking to Cathedral and towncentre. Off Street Parking in front of the property. Al in all excellent value for money.

Great stay, will recommend :)

Very clean and comfortable, host welcoming and responds quickly, great location (short walking distance to everything), free refreshment provided in room, good heating in room and good ventilation in bathroom, a lot of sockets for charging, hair dryer and ample hangers provided.

If I'm being really picky, the only thing was that the WiFi could be spotty at times, but considering that internet reception is not always stable throughout the city, it's a non-issue.

We had a good time but that had nothing to do with the accommodation.

The rooms were clean

After being told there was breakfast I didn't expect it to be instant oats, a banana and a biscuit in the room. When challenged about the price I was told it was £150 a room at the Premier Inn down the road which wasn't true. I checked. The entrance door code should be written down and there should be someone other than another guest to welcome you as I had made the requested advance phone call. There is no one other than guests in the building.

Excellent host, Julie was really helpful. Our room was warm and comfortable

We were on a room only tariff. The Room was excellent, looked lovely on arrival. The beds were comfortable, the room was warm and had lovely bedding and plump duvet.

Bathroom could do with a little TLC. There were a few damp patches on the ceiling but it really didn't affect our stay in any way. The toilet was a little difficult to flush but again not an issue.

Perfect for our needs!

Great location, really helpful hosts. Well appointed room. Nicely furnished. Quiet. Parking on site. Added bonus: plenty of milk capsules.

Very little not to like! Being picky: no breakfast tea (decaf would be an added bonus), and one bed had very noisy springs! But overall it was excellent value for money and suited out shopping needs perfectly!

Lovely B&B in wonderful Wells

Very good location for visiting Wells. Everything was within walking distance. The host was helpful and we received all details promptly. The room was comfortable and clean with good beds. Very good value for money.

The parking was full but there is available parking up the street especially at the weekend.

A handy place to stay - and park. Makes city sightseeing much less complicated.

We were met by a good-natured owner who was dealing with ongoing redecoration work inside (bodes well for the futurew) and a repair to the wall by the path. The room was very clean and tidy. The tea and coffee in the room was much appreciated. There was plenty of room to store clothes. The breakfast snacks were an adequate means of starting the day. It takes no more than 15 minutes' leisurely walk to reach the market place next to the cathedral. We very much appreciated being granted permission to leave our car beyond out checking out time. The next guests were not due for a couple of days.

The middle drawer in the chest by the door was not working properly due to the bottom panel being out of its slots. This can easily be rectified. The mattress is definitely showing signs of excessive wear. It sagged badly on my side (I'm only of medium build!) to the extent that I nearly fell out during our first night! The tangerines were well past their best.

Comfort of room and bed plus the nice little extra touches, biscuits and fruit

Think an aerial booster might help tune the T.V in better, quote a few channels didn't work.

overall a nice place to stay

location is superb for the city. Easy to find. Lovely and clean

parking was an issue, not much space, I don’t normally stay where there is no breakfast and now I remember why……. never met anyone at the property, though we were contacted by owners and talked through the entry system and which was our room, I prefer the personal touch.

Very nice place to stay in Wells convenient for the city. Julie made us very welcome.

For a supplied breakfast it was very good on first day but several items pain au chocolate and fruit juice were not supplied on second day.

location and cleanliness were great. On-site parking was a welcome bonus.

The bed was a little soft for us - but that’s personal choice.

Exceptional

The room was absolutely lovely, clean and welcoming. Parking off road and easy. We particularly liked the fact that we weren't tied to a time to check into the property and the communication from the owner was excellent. We had a lovely stay, thanks :)
