- very friendly staff
- great location
- comfortable bed with warm blankets (in a very basic, slightly run down room)
- breakfast included
- very good price
- nice place in general, with a patio
- full access to the kitchen and its facilities
- no matter how long I waited for the system to heat up the water, the shower was lukewarm at best
- a chair in the room would be nice

The place itself was really lovely with lots of plants that give the place a beautiful look and a pleasant feeling. But more importantly the staff were all super nice and willing to help with anything, even when it wasn't related to the hostel.

Shared garden space was really nice, never had to wait for the bathroom, location was a 5-minute or so walk from the plaza.
In my 6 months of backpacking this is by far the worst mattress I had, the springs had totally given out and there was zero support. I was sick for a few days so was in bed more and those days had noticeable back pain.
The room also smelled a little mildewy/musty.
Most of the rooms face the shared courtyard and noise in general seems to travel quite easily. My last couple nights there were dogs barking constantly from somewhere on the second floor (I was on ground).
Not a horrible stay, the staff was always super kind, but I don’t think I would stay again.
