Excelente atención

Excelente atención en general, la recepción muy amable, ofrecen café, té, galletas, como cortesía, todo en orden y muy limpio, las camas y almohadas muy cómodas. La ubicación es muy cercana a la laguna y la relación costo beneficio es perfecta.

l’extérieur et le personnel arrangeant et agréable

l’odeur d’humidité dans la chambre l’odeur de la douche le fait que le ménage ne soit pas fait pdt le séjour chambre pas très grande et fenêtre vue sur un mur mais bon on ne reste pas beaucoup à l’hôtel quand on est à Bacalar car cette ville est superbe

Comfy, quiet and lovely

Spacious with 2 x double bedrooms Working air con Short walk into town and also to where we did our day trip lovely staff Great upstairs rooftop too (where we did some exercise!) Very comfortable bed!

Ask for a room on the second floor.

Spacious room and bathroom.Comfortable beds and linen.Tea and coffee available.

We were in the room behind reception and there was a loud group of clients drinking outside on the verandah until late on our first night .The hotel receptionist did nothing to stop this.The room is very dark.The only window has a brick wall in front of it.

Very good

Lovely room, comfortable bed, very clean and they came in and made the room up and cleaned it every day. Good WiFi. Good location, 10 minute walk to centre in one direction and 10 minute walk to beach club in other direction. Free parking out front. Friendly, helpful staff.

It got a bit noisy in the evening and could hear music / TV from other rooms.

Really beautiful hotel, friendly staff and clean. Worth spending a dollar or 2 more for a room upstairs (deluxe). Nice rooftop sitting area that we only noticed on the last night.

Slightly out of town (10/15 mins) but that was ok for us.

Cheap but unclean

- good water pressure and hot water in the shower - the mattresses were comfy

All towels and sheets were old and stained. Many were also threadbare and had not been replaced in years. We asked reception and the owner (via WhatsApp) to change them and the person on reception was clearly not happy. He was dismissive, unresponsive and at one point rolled his eyes. We ended up in the linen closet looking at sheets with him and unfortunately they had no sheets of towels that were not stained. The pillows were truly disgusting when we went to change the covers - they had brown marks from years of use and no washing. The room smelled damp, and the set up of the property means you hear every little bit of noise as people walk through the central hallway. The hotel has the potential to be an excellent budget option but right now it is not even getting the basics right.

Superb

A bit outside of the strict tourist center, this hotel offers quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Room was very clean, good wifi, airco and fan in the room and even a mini fridge. There are tables in terrace and common areas. Also a corner with bisquits, coffee and tea, water and a microwave. Staff helped with everything when asked, they booked a tour for me and a taxi. There is a place very nearby with kayak etc for rent, sun deck and food trucks.

The only small thing I would suggest is putting glasses or normal mugs in the coffee corner instead of paper cups (or water heater). No problem for coffee but I needed to heat water in microwave to make tea and had to look around for what to use.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our room had a big double bed and really nice interiors.
