Great position, a few steps from the Gateway of India and Colaba Causeway. Good range of restaurants within walking distance.
The room was clean and comfortable. Good WiFi.
The room did not have any views. In general, reception could have been more friendly and more helpful.

Very comfortable room & bed.
They even set you up with a variety of pillows with different softness - a good pillow is important!
We want to add that the reception went above and beyond to help us to understand the train ticketing system.
I cannot praise the staff highly enough.

Reception staff was rude and condescending. Their Imperious attitude was completely counter-productive with this foreign visitor, although members of the National community may be more willing to accept the verdicts they hand out. When I arrived for check-in, I was told three times that I did not have a booking. I showed them my CONFIRMED booking, and after five minutes they produced a printout indicating my reservation was "Modified" but seemingly not confirmed by the hotel. I do not recall "modifying" my booking, which clearly was CONFIRMED. Despite this trifle, they deigned to allow me to check in. They refused to honor my request for a 1 PM checkout, one hour after their normal 12 noon checkout - as my international flight did not depart until 8 PM. I did not really feel welcome at this hotel.
