Super stay!

Rianne really makes this place the best! She made suggestions for walks; she and her hubby run a whale watching boat; she bakes bread and makes jam for breakfast.. she does it all. You’ll love it here!

We loved it all! And Baltimore is an adorable town.

An eco-friendly, comfortable B&B with a wonderful hostess, breakfast, and location. Will be back.

Rianne was the best hostess. She had wonderful recommendations for dinner. Made brownies as a welcome treat. Her breakfast was incredible and she was generous with her time in talking about attractions and the town of Baltimore. Additionally, she was warm and welcoming with a wonderful passion for her quaint town. How great that this B&B is an eco-conscious house. WOW!

Really, such a great place. Would have preferred a different style mattress but that is personal preference. Otherwise, no complaints or concerns.

Super hosts with a personal touch, family friendly accommodation, superb breakfast, beautiful location.

Rianne is the best host I have ever met. She was full of information about the local area, had great suggestions for things to do and places to eat, she was very friendly and sweet with the kids, even took the time to teach them a game and she was very responsive when I emailed ahead of time asking advice on an activity. Her homemade brownies on arrival were delicious. Breakfast was excellent. We loved all the personal touches. The accommodation was very clean and we were one minute walk from a very nice pool, hot tub and sauna, and walking distance to several nice pubs/restaurants. We had terrible weather. It was so foggy we couldn’t see anything. We want to return to go whale watching with Rianne and Jerry when the weather is nicer. Super hosts.

Simply perfect!!

Beautifully clean , warm and well equipped rooms. The Hostess couldn’t have done more to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The home made jams, yogurts and bread were incredible and the bacon and egg breakfast delicious. Thank you :)

Make the most of West Cork.

The Stone House location couldn’t be better. The rooms are lovely, and they offer everything you could want in terms of coffee and tea and snacks - and the breakfast options make you wish you could stay to try everything! Riane has great suggestions for making the most of your stay. I can’t recommend highly enough.

homely, great food, fantastic location

The hostess was outstanding, really went above and beyond. We had freshly baked gluten free brownies on arrival. Breakfast was a real treat too, great variety. Homemade jams, regular homemade bread and again catering for gluten free with cooked breakfast. very helpful local knowledge.

I enjoyed my stay very much and I felt at home.

I thought it looked beautiful, very comfortable both inside and out. it was within walking distance to the city centre which had all the amenities such as restaurants bars, a convenience store and the harbour where you could catch a boat to go sightseeing and good walking patches to go exploring.

Disappointed, had to book alternative accomodation.

The. Breakfast was better than expected or described. In fact this was better than most of the breakfasts received from the other 3 B&B's on this 10 day excursion.

The room, the total uselessness of the accommodation for two people especially as one (me) is nearly 80 years of age. I coud not face another 3 nights accessing the bed to sleep on my usual left hand side of the bed. Also the 'Private' bathroom was not advertised as being External to the Bedroom. probably being unfair to the overall status of the property as other rooms are possibly very good.

The location was perfect and near to harbour. The room had a balcony to enjoy the late afternoon sea breezes. The room and bathroom was pristine. The food omg! Especially the home made brown cake!! However, if ten stars could be given then it would be the hostess who would merit them. Rhianna is professional, knowledgeable and funny. She has an exceptional knowledge base, not only of the local area but also the wider locality.

We were in the Stone House for a family wedding. Rhiann as a host couldn't have been nicer, providing us with home-baked goodies at oportune moments, and advice about the best places to swim and also history lessons about Baltimore and West Cork.Amazing!

Nice place but a little disappointed.

A very pleasant host who made us very welcome.

The room was quite small with a small chair and no table as such. Understandably with the Covid restrictions there would be an expectation that faccilities would limited but breakfast as a sandwich with some fruit and meusli etc in a paper bag?. I'll give the place full marks for trying but it would have been possible to do better for the price of the room.Sorry about that.

A cosy and wonderful stay

Out stay with Rianne was amazing. She was incredibly welcoming and warm host from start to finish. Her homemade breakfast was incredible and she baked us fresh brownies that didn't go to waste! The location is fantastic and extremely central. We had a wonderful stay and we can't wait to go back.

The shower is a touch cold but aside from that everything is fantastic 😊

Home away from home.

Rianne is a wonderful host! She made us feel so welcome and ‘at home’. The double room with a private bathroom we got upgraded to was warm, spotless clean and very comfortable. We were welcomed with freshly baked brownies and we couldn’t have been more thankful. In the morning, not only did she prepare a delicious breakfast for us, but the care and thought she put into it was amazing! The location of the property is great, within walking distance from the centre of Baltimore, pubs and restaurants and there is parking on the premises. Our only regret was that we were there for one night only, but we are definitely looking to return for a longer stay. Many thanks, Rianne! Elena and Aydin

Rianne provided us with a warm and comfortable stay. Great, value, food and local knowledge.

We had an amazing stay with Rianne. The room and facilities were immaculate. Very welcoming with exceptional value for money. We were greeted with fresh apple bread and tea upon our arrival. The breakfast provided during our stay was all homemade and beautiful. Very accommodating overall. Highly recommend a stay.

Wild Atlantic way

There were restrictions due to covid. These were acceptable and understandable. The host was knowledgeable about the area and up to date on events in the region. We enjoyed our chats with the host and appreciated all information given. The bed was comfortable. The shower was powerful. Good choice for breakfast which contained local produce. Bread made on site. We had homemade cake every day left in our room. The accommodation was very close to everything in Baltimore. Baltimore was a great place to explore mizen head to the start of the wild Atlantic way. A short distance from many spectacular beaches and wild water swim areas.

We liked it all.

Great hosts and perfect location.

Enjoyed a lovely stay at The Stone House. It is perfectly located for exploring Baltimore and its surrounding area. The hosts are very helpful and knowledgeable about what's on/ where to visit/ where to eat etc. Breakfast was great and our room was very clean and comfortable.

A nice B n B well located for the centre of Baltimore.

This was a nice B n B with a clean bedroom, comfortable beds and a great shower. The covid restrictions meant that breakfast was either supplied in the room in a sandwich bag, or to be eaten outdoors. This was not great but I appreciate it was not the fault of the owner. The location was good, close to the centre of Baltimore.

Memorable Stay.

Our hostess Rianne was a breath of fresh air who I have to say is one of the most genuinely friendliest ladies I've had the privilege of meeting. From the moment Rianne met my wife and me, we felt at home . Due to Covid some of the amenities were out of bounds, but Rianne who is very innovative was able to come up with great Ideas (weather permitting ) like Breakfast in her well-kept airy garden or Breakfast in your room all designed to protect her quests and her family. We both would recommend The Stone House as a great location also across from the House is a beautiful pool which is well run with friendly helpful staff, and if there is anything you need to know about trips, etc Rianne is more than helpful so a big thank you, Rianne, for making our trip memorable.
