Een net echt Zwitsers hotel. Een wat ouder pand, gezellig aangekleed op zijn Zwitsers dus.
Hele ruime kamer met alles erop en aan maar wel weer op zijn Zwitsers.
Voor mij was het op doorreis, maar om het Emmental te ontdekken is dit een leuk uitgangspunt.
Heerlijk diner en simpel maar voldoende ontbijt.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were given a large suite which was very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast the following morning. Location is good if you're just driving through like we were, but be aware there is a main road nearby and train line that is quite noisy. You need a car to get anywhere. Check-in is actually from 16h not 15h.

Very beautiful location and no noise disturbance whatsoever from neighbouring railway and main road, exceedingly friendly staff, and a very large room with a very large flat-screen TV (with a wide variety of channels in different languages available).
The hotel has a bowling alley in the basement which is quite loud when in use. The room also did not come with an electric kettle despite being advertised as coming with one on booking.com, however I am certain that staff would provide one if requested based on their general good hospitality.

Hotel staff probably the owner was warm, welcoming and hospitable. Has in-house restaurant. Food was good, portion extra-ordinary big (excellent for big eaters). Room was relatively quiet despite being near to main road. Spacious shower.
Room needs a facelift, so does shower room. Breakfast was rather basic.
