The Carmel Pearl is not really a hotel; it's a pension and spa. There are just 2 accommodation units in a gallery above the inner courtyard, which is delightful, quiet and relaxing, with a 24x7 coffee corner and a fountain at the centre. The hostesses are very welcoming. The bedroom is well fitted out with an excellent en suite shower room. The bed is super-comfortable - I slept long and late. All this is found in a quiet side-street just a stone's throw from the Carmel centre and the Auditorium, perfect for our purposes. A true pearl.
We would have appreciated a few extra power points in the room. The wifi was free, but spasmodic and weak. We didn't mind at all receiving vouchers for breakfast at a local cafe, but we tried both addresses, Landwer and Mandarin, and found the breakfasts at both places tired and unappetising. At Landwer, the service was a disaster.

the facilities were magnificent. The options of activities was excellent from jacuzzi to spa. It was first class.
Not having out complementary breakfast at the hotel was a bit disappointing. Although the establishment was only 5 minutes a way walking distance, we would have rather had our breakfast in the outside patio of the hotel.

The owner is extremely kind and accommodating. She's crafted a perfect, relaxing stay in a spa-environment. The most impressive part was the exceptional breakfast. My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and we can't stop talking about how much we loved the shower and the breakfast.
We wish there was closer free parking or that the paid parking would have an app that actually functioned on our phones. Parking was the only pain.
