Nice, spacious apartment with great (free) parking in front of the house. We received fresh bread each morning. The location is also good, 10 mins to the university or to the old chuch. The communication with Eduardo (the host) was really nice and easy to reach.
The shower tube is loose, could be changed. It would be good to have a small shelf in the shower for the shampoo and shower gel.

Very elegant and chic studio in an old, noble building, in a good location, pretty close to the University. A bonus for us was that there was free parking in front of the accommodation. Location was perfect, 10 min walking distance to the University and around 15-20 min to the old center, Santa Cruz church and the touristic drag.
The studio was equipped with kitchenette with fridge, sink and cupboards with all needed kitchen ware, breakfast for our two nights was waiting in the fridge and fresh bread was left every morning in a cotton bag on the doorknob.
The host Eduardo was very communicative, gave us ahead of time all instructions for our arrival and also some extra information regarding cultural events happening in Coimbra at that time.

Top floor small studio met the basic need. Filling continental breakfast with fresh bread delivered daily. Usable kitchen and easy to recycle. Easy to walk to university attractions. Grocery store within a kilometer (but remember Coimbra is hilly when you bring groceries back).
The noise. First 2 nights a group was making a lot of noise across the street. All night. Closing windows and shutters helped and there is an air conditioning / heating unit in the studio). This was no fault of the lodging. Subsequent nights were delightful sleeping. The rooms are not soundproofed so I can imagine noisier rooms in more crowded conditions.
