Slightly unusual arrangement in that our bathroom was opposite our bedroom accessed with a key. Unfortunately we managed to lock the keys in the bathroom soon after arriving. The owner was very gracious about it!
Maybe having a spare set of keys to hand in case anyone manages to lock the keys in the bathroom again!

We had a family room and it was nice and spacious even with all the beds in there. Pub food is amazing- we had the homemade pizza and it was so good. Beds comfy.
Entry to the accommodation its via a fire escape style staircase and in the rain with our luggage this is extremely slippy.
The kitchen was right next to our room. This made it very noisy before bed and in the morning.

It’s on the NC500, but literally ON the road. The carpark is across the road. Kitchen was clean and had what we needed.
It was more like a youth hostel than an Inn or BnB. Almost everything was a little grotty, or unkempt. Room was tiny and sparse, not even a bedside table to put your tea on but with a table and chairs at one end that you had no room to use. Stairs to the rooms out the back were VERY deep and a bit of a struggle for my mum who manages normal stairs OK. Just disappointing overall and I’ve had WAY better lodgings at the same price.
