Walking distance of the Citadel and bars, restaurants, etc.. Breakfast consisted of a very good choice with options for cooked items on request. Nothing was too much trouble for Christine and Stéphane. In fact, we were moved to a room closer to the pool and breakfast room once they realised my OH had mobility issues. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, and after a day getting bitten by mosquitoes, it was a relief to be able to swim in the salt water pool (available 24/7 during the season). Bottles of the estate's wine, which was very good, were left in the room for guests to consume for an additional charge. Private secure parking was also a bonus. The town itself is easy to get around and parking is free. Watch out on a Saturday morning as the carpark is used for the market. However, we had no problem finding a a space just a little further away towards the port side entrance to the Citadel, where there are lots of places to eat both in and around.

Great location right in the centre of Blaye. The hosts were fabulous! Nothing was too much for them. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere at breakfast, it was just like chatting with old friends.
Accommodation was tastefully decorated , huge bedrooms and beautiful big bathrooms . Great recommendations for dinner and local knowledge.
Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in the area.
