Genuine unrestricted sea views. Good lounge area with plenty comfortable seating. Dining area with sea views.
Beds comfortable and rooms nicely carpeted. Host checked in with us, personally, soon after our arrival. Fresh milk, croissants, shortbread appreciated. Plenty of information provided about the area if visiting for first time. We know the village well.
Host also gave information on exactly where to park to avoid disturbing neighbours but also to ensure traffic especially the buses could complete the sharp bend manoeuvre to just miss the back end of the car.
Certain safety issues. It is not clear on Booking.com that access to the apartment is a steep stone stair at the back of the house which has an awkward angled step to enter the door. Exit with care again needed because of the awkward angle step. No hand rails on the stairs.
We noted a review before we booked that the bathroom/ toilet is downstairs and came prepared for any night time visits. The internal stairs to and from upstairs bedrooms was curved and had narrow treads so again care needed. Bannister on one side but no hand rail on other side.
Bedrooms were nice but beware sloping ceilings which means care when getting out of bed on window side.
The area for sitting out in sunshine needed some work to make it suitable. Access to this area would also need to be carefully negotiated.
The entrance at the back of the property needed a tidy up.
Parking was a concern. We watched the buses as they just missed the car.

The flat was very spacious, lots of light and fantastic views of the coastline and sea. The flat had a lovely homely feel while not being too cluttered. It was also super clean. Emma has gone the extra mile to provide very clear instructions and information which was very useful.
