Esperava um pouco mais

Há um mirante modesto, porém interessante de subir, sobretudo no por do sol. As funcionárias da limpeza foram cordiais e agradáveis. A localização permite o deslocamento ao centro sem muito esforço, algo importante na cidade.

Wi-Fi não funciona na recepção nem no quarto triplo com banheiro (o 4), que sofre com o ruído dos grupos que conversam ao redor até altas horas, na área comum, sem que existam regras de horário de silêncio. Quando chegamos, mesmo após confirmar o horário de checkin (19h), o funcionário desconhecia a reserva, teve dificuldade de achar, ainda foi preparar o quarto e entregou-o sem toalhas, que só chegaram depois. No dia seguinte, pedi ajuda no momento de registrar um chip no celular, pois não estava entendendo o espanhol na fala rápida da funcionária do teleatendimento. Sem nem tentar ajudar, ele disse apenas que era para eu procurar uma loja da operadora. A janela do banheiro tem tamanho, localização e forma inapropriadas, gerando perda de privacidade, o que também ocorre na janela do quarto, cuja cortina não veda-a toda. No verão, o quarto muito fica quente e a hospedagem não tem ventilador a oferecer. Enfim, fomos sem muita expectativa, tentando ser compreensivos com uma estrutura que já se esperava ser simples. Mas o que pareceu foi falta de interesse em tratar bem o turista. Em vez de oferecer a ajuda solicitada, o funcionário queria saber com quem fechamos os passeios.

muito bom custo benefício. hostel limpo, silencioso e espacoso.

limpeza na pousada, tamanho do quarto compartilhado.

de nao tem cortina nas camas e falta de recepção 24 hrs. sobre a recepção a pousada oferece uma chave se voce fica mais dias.

Los espacios comunes estaban limpios, el patio tiene una terraza para comer, y 2 hamacas para relajarse. La cocina poseía de todo para cocinar, a excepción del horno que estaba malo. Buena ubicación en relación al precio

Las piezas compartidas no tenían ventiladores o aire acondicionado, en el día eran muy calurosas

Comfy room, good location

Good location, not in the city center, but 5 min walk from it, which made it also a bit more quiet. The courtyard inside is nice and relaxing, you can spend some time relaxing there and even watch the wonderful Atacama sky in the night. The room was ok, comfortable bed, had the basic amenities.

The bathroom, the drain from the toilet goes really slow and it is annoying... Water at the shower gets warm slow and it doesn't last much, but yeah you accept it as you're in Atacama I guess.. still, the drain from the toilet can be much improved.

Good location, nice area to sit outside. Staff were lovely despite speaking no English

Very cold, no atmosphere, shower wasn’t too warm. Kitchen was ok but only has 2 seats or you have to sit outside which isn’t good when it’s so cold at night

Great place to stay

The staff were really friendly and helpful, helped us booking onto excursions. There was a good selection of excursions and most seemed to be competitively priced with some of the other agencies in town. The garden area was great, lots of places to sit, and a couple of hammocks where we spent a lot of our down time. Good kitchen and good value for money. There are a couple of cats that live in the hostel which were quite entertaining.

It was a bit noisy when we were there, snoring and loud guests at early hours, but that's not really the fault of the hostel. The water, power and WiFi went down a few times whilst we were there, but usually came back on within a few hours. On a couple of occasions there was no hot water.

Love the location, the outdoor area is beautifully done and relaxing, with a really cool roof terrace where you get a 360 view of the surrounding landscapes. good sized rooms and comfortable clean beds. The hosts were very kind, welcoming and helpful! The cats are also lovely and playful! the bathrooms are also both good sized and very clean, with good hot water in the showers.

It lacks some facilities, such a towels to dry hands and dishes, hand soap in the bathrooms (this does exist but it’s in the kitchen) and would suggest a bigger area for preparing food. But this didn’t take away from my experience. :)

Great!!

Great place to stay and it has everything you may need. They have lockers outside the rooms but does not fit big bags, they have a very pleasant place to relax with chairs in the back, a nice rooftop where you can see the Vulcan and a good kitchen (it closes at 10pm and opens at 7am). Always request your key, you need to rent it, but they lock the front door until 7 am. It is very close to the center in San Pedro, with all restaurants and shops, like 10 min walk. I really recommend it. It is a simple place, not luxury, for backpackers who just wanna relax and stay at a cheap and quiet place.

Good place

Rooftop is great. Beds are very confortable and made every day.

Not well equipped kitchen Only 2 showers/toilets for the all place... Not enough so you are going to wait. No hot water, but the same in all San Pedro.

Passable

I didn't get to stay here because the guy at reception told me that there was something wrong with the room and he sent me to another hotel. Go read their google reviews about the scam before you book. The other hotel was good, but I somehow felt tricked.

Pleasant

The common area was really nice, the place was clean.

Staff was the biggest problem. Not always there and hard to find, when given feedback they would not even answer, just stayed silent ignoring us. Sometimes it felt like I was disturbing. Kirchen was closed from 22 to 7, which means LOCKED and even getting water from the fridge was impossible. Warm water in the shower only working every now and then. Only 2 bathroom for the whole hostel, which means that in the morning or the evening the waiting could be really long. A sticker was left on one of the bunk bed saying it was supposed to be used for kids. A couple of guys payed for ah half extra day in order to be able to use the common areas while waiting for their bus leaving at 4 am. At 1 am the staff threw them out because they "had to close the hostel".

The location was good and the shared kitchen was well equipped. Also the outside space was really nice.

The rooms were quite cramped, there wasn’t always hot water in the showers, the Wi-Fi was very slow and sometimes didn’t work at all.

The owner was super lovely and couldn’t do enough to help and make you feel welcome. perfect location just outside of town, really sociable (the owner holds regular events like bbqs for all guests - food is amazing!) without being raucous. lovely gardens you can sit and chill out in with hammocks, swing chairs, tables and benches etc

I had a private room and the bathroom was a bit run down and basic. Shared kitchen could have been cleaner.

Zero confort but sympathic

Good place, pleasant.

Oven was broken for a long time I think. We were freezing in the evening and morning. No heating. The shower was almost nothing.

Very good

Small hostel with a nice and quiet garden and also a terrace, the location is great (close to the main street and 15min from the bus terminal). You can book tours directly from the hostel (some are cheaper). Met a lot of nice people there.

Bed was a bit hard and also it's really cold during the night (light blanket).

Great hostal with friendly staff

Good location, close to everything but still quiet at night, away from the busy streets. Friendly staff, helped us book some tours and gave great tips about the area. Very comfortable beds and nicely decorated hostel. Very cute and friendly cat Luna.

We were in winter, so rooms can become a bit cold at night, but it's like that everywhere in Chile.

Bad choice.....

The Graden is really nice.

The room was so cold during the night that we had to sleep with a sleepingbag and 3 blankets. There was no heater in the room, not a single storage or clothes hook for our stuff. The Kitchen is closed with a lock from 10pm-8am so it's not possible to make breakfast before all the tours in san pedro are starting (between 7 and 7:30), the facilities in the kitchen are made for 3 people max. and there is almost no place to sit inside to eat. We were not allowed to wash a single underware in the sink because of the water in the desert. We would not come back because it's way to expensive for what you get

Great Stay In Atacama

- very clean - very friendly people working there - facilities were amazing (eg for cooking, relaxing, doing yoga)

- when I was there I wasn’t able to pay by card because their machine was broken (but that might be fixed soon)
