Sehr schöne, ruhige Lage mit direkter Sicht auf den Vulkan. Kinder können direkt beim Haus in einen kleinen, abenteuerlichen Wald.
Die Ausstattung ist super, es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Fenster und Türe haben Fliegengitter, so dass man lüften kann. Nicht schrecken vor den nächtlichen Geräuschen der Cagarros. Wir waren davon anfangs sehr irritiert.
Die Dusche war auch eine Freude, da das Warmwasser nicht kalt wurde und genug Druck hatte. Was nicht selbstverständlich ist.
Die Waschmaschine hat super funktioniert. Kleiner Tipp: sie ist in einem kleinen Raum, außen, ums Eck von der Eingangstür.
Wir haben uns rundum sehr wohl gefühlt und würden es sofort weiterempfehlen.

The location is fantastic - right in the middle of the Unesco world heritage site vineyards, with a perfect view of Mount Pico from the garden, and a minute's walk from the sea (although unfortunately the Cabrito natural pools nearby are currently closed so we couldn't swim there). It's also really peaceful. You hear nothing at night, except if you're lucky/unlucky depending on your point of view, the sound of the cagarros. We slept really well
This is basic countryside accommodation. The decor is old fashioned and some of the facilities are a little old, but everything works. We also felt it could have been a bit cleaner in places - there were a few cobwebs, a bit of dust etc. If these things are likely to bother you, it might be better to look elsewhere.
Finally, as others have mentioned, the flipside of the tranquility here is that there aren't many facilities nearby. There's a lovely cash-only seaside bar a five minute drive away in Arcos, but the nearest supermarket is 10 minutes away, so you need to be a bit organised if you stay here to make sure you have everything you need
