The room was beautifully decorated, clean and welcoming. The bathroom was stylish, big and clean. Plenty of clean towels. I couldn’t fault the room if I tried. The peacock pub side - gorgeous pub, fantastic tasty food and because the weather was nice we sat outside and took in the beautiful view. Staff were amazing. We will be visiting again in January.

The Peacock at Barlow is a beautiful pub situated on the south-eastern border of the Peak District. The staff are exceptional, focusing intently on ensuring your stay is supremely comfortable and of the highest quality. We loved everything, from the exquisitely decorated and furnished bedroom and en suite bathroom to the atmosphere and dinner service. The breakfast was equally outstanding, featuring a rich variety of exceptional dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
