The location is great and it’s very characterful. The room was lovely.
There were no staff! The restaurant was closed. Arriving late Sunday afternoon (at the time we were expected) the hotel was all but closed. No staff at all. We were only able to get inside because there was one other couple staying and they let us in. Staff had left us a key and a note inside. I had requested a dinner reservation and had no communication that this would be the situation.
