Lovely studio apartment, as described with one of the best roof terraces in matera sassi in the best location.

The location was excellent just at the side of the 11th century church in the Caveoso Sassi region. Large balcony, comfortable sofa bed, kitchen and bathroom.

Apartment can be hot and a fly net on the back door would have helped. Amazing terrace but be aware as it is overlooked.

Beautiful home away from home

Amazing location in the heart of sassi bareoso. Stunning views from the terrace at night and during the day. Apartment is well equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Francesco was extremely helpful recommending great local restaurants and easily available to contact by text. Check in was straightforward and communication clear. It felt like a home away from home. Very nice stay.

Read the fine print. This is a sofa bed not a double room. It was comfortable for 1 person but may not suit all.

This view is amazing. One of the best in Matera. Just book it for the view! Big terrace. Clean. Good communication with owner. The city bus stops right outside. There is a 24/7 self service kiosk right outside. Lost of restaurants/bars outside.

The sheets had a bit of a sour smell, maybe not totally dried before putting away. Not the best bed, but was prepared for this. Google maps showed me to another place down the street when putting the adress in, so be aware of this might happen. The owner had given me directions, but I came from a different direction and not with bus.

Dalla camera si accede alla terrazza-tetto che è un sogno: si affaccia su piazza San Pietro Caveoso con una vista mozzafiato sulla città di Matera da una parte e la Gravina dall'altra. Bellissima sia la mattina che la sera.

La stanza potrebbe essere un po' calda in piena estate.
