Situated in Northstar Drive, this attractive condo for $187 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Conveniently located in the Village, guests staying at the Northstar Village Condos Timbercreek Lodge enjoy exclusive ski-in, ski-out privileges and are just steps away from all the exquisite shops, restaurants, recreation center and activities the Village has to offer. *Please be advised that this home does not have air conditioning. This Village 1 bedroom plus loft/2 bath condo has a queen bed, 2 twins in the loft and a sleeper sofa in the living room, full kitchen, gas fireplace and wireless internet access. A community laundry room is located on the same floor. There is one designated parking place for this condo. Northstar at Tahoe is the most complete summer and winter destination resort located in the picturesque Sierra Nevada Mountains. Winter activities at Northstar include the new Lookout Mountain offering acres of new terrain for skiers and snowboarders including a Terrain Park and Super Pipe. In the summer, enjoy the champion 18-hole golf course, mountain bike trails. The home is only a few miles from Lake Tahoe where you can find boating, jet skiing, parasailing, kayaking, shopping, and sightseeing activities. Placer County STVR Compliance Requirements. This place is literally steps from the Gondola. It is central to everything at Northstar. The inside is immaculate and very organized - there were ski racks and a bench in the foyer. The place comes with 2 full baths and each bathroom has a kit filled with shampoo/conditioner/bar soap. The kitchen is well stocked with all kinds of pots and pans, lots of dishes and cups and silverware. The garbage can is large enough to accommodate trash since we did a lot of cooking. The place is spacious to hold 2 couches and a dining table that can extend out. Upstairs is a loft but the layout is perfect. Sound does travel because it s a loft but it has a bit of a wall that separates 2 twin beds from another section that has one queen bed. there are plenty of hangers and spaces to hang and dry all the winter clothes at the end of a ski day, and boy they dry so quickly! Love all the details in this cozy yet specious loft.

Property is great for a family who skis/snowboards. It's located in the village and is an easy walk to the Village Express Run or the Gondola. The mini grocery market, Cooperlane, is right across from the condo entrance. Restaurants, shops, ice rink and Starbucks are a short walk away.
In the condo, the couches were comfortable and there was room to spread out for a family of four with two teenagers. The living room couch is also a foldout bed. There were plenty of dishes, flatware, glasses and kitchen equipment, including an awesome rice maker that made the most perfect fluffy rice!
Note that it is a loft and there is no door to the main bedroom upstairs with a queen bed. Two twin beds are adjacent in the next room separated by pocket doors and is exposed to the living room below, but has an en-suite full bathroom upstairs. The other full bathroom is downstairs. Condo had good water pressure for showers. It's conveniently located next to the laundry facility on the floor, but you do not hear it at all. It's a $1.00 each to wash/dry.
We would definitely return to this condo. It was very comfortable, clean and the convenience of being in the village at an affordable price for mountain access was excellent.

Great location!
My number one priority was ski in ski out and this property was exactly that. The gondola was a short walk through the village. The village offered many food and drink options along with ice skating, live music and fire pits! The property itself was clean, comfortable and exactly as pictured.

Great location, could use some improvements
The location in the village is great! The condo itself is outdated, but the kitchen and bathrooms are very clean and well maintained. The dining table and 4 chairs are in disrepair, and the chairs are going to break soon when someone sits on them. The table has recessed grooves with a lot of dirt and debris that you can’t get out- it was really gross to eat at the table. For the cost of the condo, we probably won’t stay here again.

Great location for skiing. The condo is dated but in good shape. I highly recommend the owner invest in new mattresses. After a long day skiing those were not at all comfortable - hard as a rock and seemed like 50 years old. Small investment would go a long way towards your guests comfort.

We really enjoyed the house and our 5 nights stay. The condo was clean and comfy. There were a couple of items to be noted. The dining table chairs were all very loose, if we were larger people we could have had an injury as the chairs were loose enough to break. The wifi was spotty at best, although this was noted to possibly be the case, and lastly, the evening television could have been more enjoyable with a newer wall mounted television and the DVD player did not work. Just to note that these are areas that could make the property a better experience although we did enjoy our stay.

We really enjoyed the house and our 5 nights stay. The condo was clean and comfy. There were a couple of items to be noted. This place was the cleanest I've ever stayed ! No weird smells . Absolutely sparkling clean. It is a bit outdated, but everything works and in a great condition. It's good for a family with younger children, a little bit lacking pravicy for teenagers and parent, no door between the bedroom and the loft area where kids sleep.
The walls are very think. If you have loud neighbor you are screwed. You can literally hear every word they said behind that walk, luckily they when to sleep early. Overall it is a very nice condo , probably better during winter. Pool was closed due to Covid, so not much to do there . Beaches 20-30 minutes drive from the property.

This condo walks right downstairs into the village--so fun. But the balcony overlooks the parking lot...not as fun. Like other reviews have mentioned, there is no A/C, but it got cool enough in the evenings that with the 2 portable fans in the unit, we were able to blow cool air from the balcony door up toward the loft, and then slept with one in the "loft" and the other in the "bedroom". I wouldn't quite call this 1 bedroom and 1 loft though as there was no door to the "bedroom". It was just part of the loft. So putting the kids to bed at night was a bit problematic as there was no door to shut to keep noise or light out of the "bedroom" while they were trying to fall asleep.
The unit was quite clean...no bugs whatsoever and was in decent condition. Unfortunately, the oven filled the unit with smoke the night we tried to cook dinner leaving us scrambling to fan smoke alarms and wishing there were windows. The kitchen had enough dishware and cookware, but was missing some basics we've always found in other rentals such as olive/cooking oil (which made making dinner challenging) and plastic baggies. Also, the DVD and VHS players didn't work no matter what we tried, (yes, there were specific directions on how to use them; no, they did not work,) and there were not many tv channels, so at the end of a busy, fun-filled day, when the fam wanted to just relax and watch something together, we couldn't find anything age-appropriate for a family with kiddos. And the tv upstairs had a parental control set on it, so literally all we could do was turn it on and off. We were unable to access even the TV guide, so it was useless. Decor was alright...nothing amazing, but sufficient. The beds were not super comfy, but not awful. Hubby was the only one who didn't bring his own pillow from home though and woke up with a neck ache that wouldn't go away for days.
We were grateful to have a 2 "bedroom" 2 bathroom place to stay with a kitchen and so close to the village for the price point though. We much prefer it to squeezing in a hotel room together. All and all, compared to the price of other rentals in that location, it was a good deal.
*On a side note, we did not call the management company about things that could have potentially been "fixed" such as the DVD/VHS player or the smoky oven due to COVID-19. We did not want anyone coming into the until as we are trying to social distance.

We visited 12/22-12-26 2018. The location was great and we had a fantastic time. The accommodation bedding and towels could use upgrading. Boby was awesome and there tontake care of any questions we had.

Nice but hot!
This was our 3rd stay in Tahoe during July. Loved the condo but after spending all day at softball fields, would have really appreciated air conditioning. The beds being in the loft made sleeping difficult. Best sleep I had was when I finally decided to take the couch downstairs. Loved the convenience with parking.

Convenient
Slope side to Northstar, close to Truckee, Squaw, Tahoe XC in Tahoe City and adventures in the Donner Pass area. Perfect place 4. Kids had their own loft divided from our bedroom. Kitchen well stocked (except no coffee or real sugar). It was quiet and comfortable. I was glad that I brought my own pillows. Rec center also was close.

Perfect hoilday get away!
We had a wonderful time staying in Northstar at this condo location! My family's very first time in the snow and the weekend events were so much fun! This condo was perfect for a family of four! Thanks again!
