Cozy, quiet place. Drove to Aqureyri isn't that far. No shower was available but went to swimming pool was great experience.

The bed is okay, and the property has a friendly cat.
The house is very cramped for 3 people; I would say it would already be tight for 2. The location is relatively far from Akureyri, almost a 30-minute drive. Upon arrival, there was an awkward situation because the instructions for getting the keys were to knock on the door of the neighboring house. I did that, and the host had just arrived by car and was talking to someone else. When I approached them to ask for the keys, she responded from a distance in a rather unfriendly tone, saying "Yes?", as if I was invading their space. I was surprised by this and simply said, "The keys," and she replied that they were already inside the house, which was different from what I had been instructed. It's a bit strange how unprofessional they are in dealing with international guests; they seem like private individuals trying to run a business but ultimately don't know how to interact with people. It was a very poor first impression.
