Located in Columbia City, this lovely house for $428 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Gather and feast in our historic craftsman home with original features and woodwork, modern furnishings with special vintage touches! With a walk score of 92, you’re within walking distance to an international mix of restaurants and cafes, near the light rail for a convenient ride to downtown and stadiums. Hang out around a campfire in our lush backyard garden and BBQ (grill is provided) - so buy that market fish! Take your shoes off, put your feet up and relax in a classic home with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (approximately 1600 sq. ft) is perfect for families and friends to gather. The living room has a large couch that is perfect for a group to lounge, chat, watch Netflix and nestle by the fire. The large kitchen is an inviting space to congregate with a dining room to seat 6 people. Be at home at our Crown on the Hill Craftsman Home. *Please take note that below us is a lower unit tenant. There is no access to their unit and vice versa. However outdoor space is communal space. You are also welcomed to use all outdoor space, table, chairs etc. **Need an early check- in or late check-out? For an additional $25/hr (up to 2 hours). Kindly inquire further, we will do our best to accommodate all requests (depending on next/prior reservations). *** requirements for all stays*** Prior to move in each adult residing in the unit is required to: 1. Great property with a very convenient location between Columbia City and Hillman City, near restaurants and anything else that you could need during a visit to Seattle. House was very clean, warm and comfortable for a family or small group of friends; coffee station choices were amazing. Communication with Emily was excellent. Our only complain were the mattresses. They were not comfortable. The king size bed mattress was a Tempurpedic or similar memory foam material, and needs replacement. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

We stayed at this property for a week with 8 people - 4 adults and 4 kids (9,11,11,14). The house was exactly what we needed, it was clean, spacious, and in a great location with restaurants and the light rail to airport or downtown in walking distance. What made our stay the best was working with Emily, the property owner. She answered our questions promptly, accommodated our unique situation and made the process stress-free.

Once again we had a great stay at this Columbia City house. Just off the main drag, Ranier, with great restaurants and shops. The property was perfect for our family and we plan on visiting again the next time we're up in Seattle.

My family of two adults, a senior, and three children aged 6 and younger all had an amazing stay at this house, even during a rare Seattle snow storm. We were especially grateful that it was very family-friendly in multiple ways.

Overall a great option in Columbia City/Hillman City/Seward Park. Easy walk to great coffee, food, breweries. Reasonable proximity to light rail. The house is spacious and comfortable. Equipped with fans but only one BR with AC so can be a touch warm on the hottest days. Good choice for a 3 BR in the south end!

My husband and I came up to Seatlle to visit our son, who lives nearby. The property is an old (early 1900's) Craftsman, that's been updated. The house was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our needs. Close to the airport, but not too close, and a short drive into the city. PCC is a great upscale grocery just a few minutes away and Seward Park was a wonderful place to explore.

This place is absolutely stunning, it was so green and bright, my parents thought it was a quintessential "Emerald City" home. It is styled for comfort and practicality with a great couch big enough for all 5 of us to curl up and read a book. The decor is beautiful and classic with modern touches. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet, we slept great. The view of downtown from the end of the block was stunning in early evening and after we saw that on the second night, we made a habit of going for a nightly walk. Would definitely recommend and will be staying here again whenever our family comes back to visit.

My husband and I loved our stay here! Emily was friendly, accommodating and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Her home is quaint and charming and located in a hip/up-and-coming neighborhood. The place was clean and well-kept with a beautiful modern decor. I especially loved the convenience of walking to nearby shops and public transit. If you’re looking for a cute and quiet neighborhood, I would definitely recommend staying here.

This home was a wonderful mix of modern and antique, sophisticated and fun. The authentic history of the home was preserved and yet beautiful new additions were made to blend with the home’s structure. I loved the feel of a more comfortable home away from home. Location was great also!

With 3 toddlers my wife and I were looking for a place in the heart of the city that not only was stylish and fun but could also accommodate kids. This place met all of our requirements and more. From the moment I walked in I felt as though we were in a boutique home. The host was super friendly and responded to all my requests extremely fast. The home is older and has a classic vintage vibe. My favorite thing about the place is the location. You can literally walk out the front door and hit amazing restaurants, bars and coffee shops. We could've ditched our car if we weren't traveling to another city. You'll need to park on the street but I was actually surprised at how good the parking was for being in the city. Place was clean and tidy. I would definitely stay here again next visit.

I’d stay here again. The hostess was very accommodating and the place was clean and comfortable. Public transportation was so easy to use to get to downtown Seattle. Local cafes with the best coffee I’ve ever had. It’s a gem!!!

We loved Emily’s home! The home has so much charm and we especially loved Emily’s sense of style and design throughout her home. It comfortably slept our family of 5 (2 toddlers and baby), was clean, always was able to find parking on the block, and loved hopping over to the local bakery down the road. Would definitely stay here again.

Parking was challenging. It was hot during our stay and we would have liked to open the windows at night to cool off. However, only one bedroom of four had a window that opened which made sleeping difficult even with fans. Downstairs windows did not open either. The owner was helpful and provided items we requested. We would not rent this property again.

We arrived with no issues and Emily was terrific getting back to me when I had questions. There were a few kinks but we were only their second guests, so I would imagine things will only get better. Super cute place and I really loved the living room - terrific for gathering and relaxing. Sleeping was an issue for us; the upstairs was quite warm and the beds not all that comfy, so only half of us got a full night's sleep. The doors were wildly creepy and one did not have a handle, so if you need to shut your door, you might be uncomfortable. Be aware, if there is someone in your group with mobility issues - the only bathroom is upstairs and there are 2 (awkwardly leaning) small sets of steps in front of the house. Otherwise, the place had great hosts, it was very clean, 20 minutes from downtown, and had some terrific restaurants nearby.
