Extended holiday gateway

I love the location. Super closed to the beach walking distance . Well located. Reasonable price and the bathroom quite big tho.

I had few to say. 1 of your staff entering our room without our consent . If you knock and there is nobody inside you should just leave but you entered our room so it’s not nice and permissible. And I’ve stay at other chalet hotel before but there is no issue with so much mosquitoes thou , you need to do something about it, and lastly staff can be more friendly. That all that I can recall and I hope there is a room for improvement. Thank you

Unfortunately there were too many negatives at this budget hotel to be able to recommend it

The location was good & very close to the beach. Our twin room was upgraded to a junior suite & was very spacious. Daily complimentary bottles of water was good. The rooftop area was spacious, with good views of the beach

It wasn't a good first impression when we asked for luggage assistance at check-in & we're told there was no-one available to help. The hotel offers complimentary WiFi but it was poor & we had extremely limited/no connectivity in our room. The bathroom light switch, was also connected to the fan, which was extremely noisy. You couldn't switch the light on independently. The colour of the tap, shower & toilet water was yellow, which was very disconcerting & we didn't even want to clean our teeth with it. The shower was an overhead rainfall type with no hand-held option & the shower floor was very discoloured & looked dirty. Towels & shower mats weren't always replaced & we had to ask & wait on numerous occasions for them to be replenished. Toilet rolls weren't replenished daily & there were no spares in the bathroom. Breakfast was self-service, but the choice was poor & the hot food was often cold. Service at the beach bar was poor, we waited an eternity at lunchtime for our food & then part of our order was forgotten. An hour later, a duplicate food arrived!

Dilapidated room in need of repair!

Room was in poor condition. Marks on the walls, loose concrete in bathroom, sink hanging off the wall. There were several mosquitos waiting in the room which I had to kill before I could relax.

The chalets are located right on the beach,

Great location next to beach

Shower drain was blocked so water built up which wasn't good. More clothes hanging space required. Breakfast was very average, not a great selection but terrace very nice to sit out and staff very relaxed.

Overall a nice stay. A few little tweaks could of made it fab!

Great little chalets. Great location, staff were nice and pleasant enough. Right on the beachfront, and on the Main Street too but not noisy.

The bathrooms could do with some further attention - black scale round sinks etc. doesn’t bother us too much but may bother others.

I don’t recommend this place

We asked for a 3 person room. The room was awful. It had a weird smell. The bed was practically broken, if you sit on it, it would sink to the floor. There was a hole in the lower left corner of the door, big enough for a rat.

Very good

The resort located at really popular tourist spot and full of night life activity especially on weekend. Walking distance to Cenang Mall, Underwater World, various duty free shop and restaurants. Car park is available for resort guest if you rent a car. The resort is divided in 3 section which is the motel, chalet and 5 storey hotel building. You can choose type of room suit you best. The room is clean, equipt with water heater, iron, kettle and other amenities. Overall stay is good.

The motel and chalet building is quite old and located near resort bar, might be noisy for some people, but the room is clean.

Near to the beach so it’s easy. Staff are friendly too. Very clean!

Wish there is a phone in the hotel room so that we can call the receptionist if there’s any problem

Did not have breakfast at this hotel. Location is great.. very near to d beach pantai cenang & dataran cenang..

Thought with d price paid RM520 for 2 nites will get d hotel room not d motel room..

Clean room and excellent location

Cleanliness was good and staff did provide extra blanket as the room was cold.

There was strange smell of alcohol, may be neighbours were deinking. but it didnt bother. May be they can use some fragrant room freshner. Need to add more light in the room. Reception/ Room service phone number was not available.

A great location for a reasonable price

This hotel was in a fantastic location. Not far from the airport it's right by Penai Chenang beach and plenty of local shops, bars and restaurants. The rooftop restaurant has a wonderful view of the beach and is reasonably priced.

The hotel is a little tired and it's the only place I've stayed where they don't leave a spare loo roll - which was a little disconcerting. Towels were also pared down to only 2 (no hand towels) and there was no safe in the room (which again I found unusual). We ordered food and drinks at the rooftop restaurant, all was nice but slow, the staff seemed disinterested (despite being very quiet when we were there)...food arrived before drinks (a lime and soda) and plates weren't cleared away when we finished.
