We stayed at this hotel for two nights, and it was an immersive experience. It was incredible. We felt like we were in a jungle by the sea; the staff were very welcoming, and the massages were deeply relaxing. It was truly exceptional. The restaurant was perfect, and the breakfast was excellent. The service was incredibly kind and attentive.

We had a fabulous stay at Aya Beach Resort. From the first welcome to our last day, everyone went out of their way to look after us.
The resort is beautifully maintained, and designed so it feels like a peaceful tropical paradise, all facing the sea. We loved the facilities: restaurant, bar, pool, gym, yoga, volleyball etc and there were always plenty of sun loungers and sunbeds.
We also loved being able to swim in the sea towards high tide and then walk on the beach at low tide, with steps down directly from the bar.
We highly recommend staying here, a perfect getaway in Zanzibar.

Staff were very lovely and helpful.
Pool was nice and hotel has a great ocean view from pool and restaurant.
Room plugs are newer.
Room small and dark. Bathroom, mold in shower, very dingy.
Sheets are clean, but the extra blanket smelt bad. I used the bath towel to cover while sleeping.
Dinner was mediocre, the cats got to enjoy my meal, I couldn't eat it.
My husband thought I was complaining until he tried it. His fish dinner was good.
We had just come from a hotel that is $25 less a night with all same amenities offered, but food is so much better. The room and bathroom at other hotel are just as dated, but are clean, the bathroom is clean. They did not have availability for the night we had to stay at Aya, but then we went back.
