The staff and owner were incredibly welcoming and the hotel itself was so serene and peaceful. It is probably the nicest property I have stayed in after many years of travels in Africa. Izzy in particular was very helpful and made sure everything was perfect during my stay.
Maybe more choice with the breakfast menu as it was just a little repetitive during my stay, but it was also delicious with fantastic ingredients.

We absolutely loved our stay at Zen! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, warm and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.
They were also so helpful with recommendations, from the best local activities to delicious places to eat nearby. Their hospitality truly made our experience in Zanzibar even more special.
We had such a wonderful time and would absolutely stay here again. We can’t wait to return to Zanzibar and visit Zen again! ❤️🌴✨
