Lovely old pub with flagstone floors with a good selection of beers etc. Wonderful views across the country side,
Good breakfast and evening meal with very pleasant and helpful staff. Room was a little small but had everything we wanted. Plenty of parking spaces.
This was just a stop on our way to Whitby
No problems for us.

Stunning location, although hair-raising to get to and from owing to the hill and windy roads. Pretty room (3), comfortable bed. Peaceful and quiet. Dinner and breakfast were tasty and good value.
Service could have been more welcoming on arrival and at dinner. Chap at breakfast was very friendly.

It’s not a didn’t like more of a pointer
Door hooks on the back of the bedroom door for wet Coats and maybe a bit of walk guide in the information folder as to where to walk with your dog if you’ve never been to the area before
