Adra hostel is absolutely beautiful. Great place to hang out, loved the rooftop bar/restaurant. Great location. Comfy beds. Decent value, Antigua is a very expensive tourist city, so I think the price was justified, even though there are so many beds in each room.
Check in was a little slow, there was only one staff member working so it took about 20 minutes before I could check in. I got there on a Saturday afternoon and there was a DJ blasting music throughout the whole hostel. Great vibes if you want an afternoon party, but impossible to rest - sound traveled into the rooms and even with earplugs I could hear the music. Sunday there was music playing at a reasonable volume and it was nice.
I stayed on the 3rd level bunk, would not recommend if you are afraid of heights.

The space is very aesthetically pleasing, with the greenery and the candles burning in the evening. The staff is polite and the place is well-managed. Great location and central to Antigua.
Please stop using fragrances and room sprays to try to cover up the humidity and bad smells in the bathroom - it doesn’t work and just adds more poor air quality. The air quality outside in Antigua is bad enough, the last thing you need is for impure air inside too. The bathrooms need more consistent ventilation to deal with the humidity from the showers, the smells from the toilets, and the amount of water left on the floor after mopping.
I also found a hair in my hot chocolate and it was overpriced for the low quality chocolate and high sugar content, but that is more of a reason to eat out and explore the diversity of restaurant options.

muy buen restaurante y el espacio en comun. pero la habitacion que estuve habian demasiadas camas, es dificil descansar. si haces trabajo remoto no recomiendo porque el espacio en comun es ruidoso, pero hermoso!!

Dormes with 24 beds and ONE bathroom!
There was one more bathroom outside for use of all hostel guests.
I saw the photos on booking and it seemed nice, but it's definitely not a place to chill.
It felt like staying in a restaurant.
All the patio and the upper terrace are packed with tables. Very few corners with more comfortable sofas to chill. Also there's a third restaurant area inside. At least make the terrace for guests to chill in a more comfortable area with some couches & sofas/ hammocks.
Prices are extremely expensive at the restaurant.
A cappuccino for €4 (35Q) !!!
At 8am they did some construction work with drill waking me up.
Either do it later or advertise on booking and tell guests when checking-in, you're gonna have noise at 8am
