the accomodation is basic and homey and in a nice location, far enough away from the noisy bars but still very walkable to everything. there is plenty of comfy places to read a book with a coffee and the wifi is excellent. the kitchen is also fully equipped. great value too

The owners are very nice (as other reviewers have stated), so it’s hard to leave a bad review, but this was one of the worst hostels/ stays I’ve ever experienced… The twin mattress was a rock and extremely uncomfortable. The room/ building smelt of sewage the entire stay. The detached bathroom is probably only 15 square feet and so you can hardly sit down on the toilet it is so tight and crammed. If this was correspondingly <$10 then I might just forget about it, but for $35 per night this was terrible value and uncomfortable
