Spacious room on the 10th floor, room key was digital and set at check-in, all services can be accessed through their app including reservations for their facilities and dining. Location was a 10-minute walk to the passenger ferries and water taxis to take guests to the amazing capital of Valletta.
Needs improvement:
- I requested a sea view room and got more of a rooftop room with little sea view. The email I received confirmed this is what we were getting, but was not the case.
-The shower and sink faucet both had fluctuating hot water and became a contentious situation because we did not report it immediately. It is not management's place to
-The balcony has “junior” dimensions and is more narrow than U.S. balconies. I do not recommend this for families with young and very active children. Post photos that are more accurate or include this in the description of the property.
-Bathroom amenities did not include hair conditioner so bring your own if you need it.
-Staff at the front desk were mostly looking into their screens came in from a day out. A hi-hello, would've have been nice.
**The front desk and restaurant staff were nice but not always and was unsettling. Some were helpful and pleasant, but we encountered manager who we perceived was more accusatory about the fluctuating temperature in the shower and sink. In the end, it seemed our fault that we didn't report it immediately. He came across as more defensive than willing to help, but did offer drinks at the bar. Those dealing with guests and their problems with accommodations should have more finesse at the managerial level.
At the beginning of our stay, someone called up to check to make sure that all was good, and it was. At the time.
Please do your homework. It was okay, but as I said, not as advertised - you decide.
Bottom line: If you go to Malta and most of the time you’re touring, it’s okay. If you need the spa, etc. be sure to ask questions and if you're there already and there's a problem, be sure you report it immediately to the front desk.

Location, staff, premises including interior design. Good breakfast!
The room, although deluxe, wasn’t too spacious. Difficult to open the suitcase in. Apart from that nothing else bad about it.

The location was great - a short walk downhill to the ferry terminal, bars and restaurants. The Molton Brown products were nice. We didn’t try the Michelin starred restaurant but the menu looked good.
One of the reception staff on arrival was quite cold - I mentioned that I had asked for an early check in and he barked “it is subject to availability and is not guaranteed” I knew that - I was simply asking if it was possible. We got given an accessible room with a wet room for some reason. The room was very basic for how much we paid. There was only one slot available for the rooftop pool and the cabana beds are not beside the pool. The hotel bar whilst ok had no atmosphere. It just felt like a basic room with very little amenities.
