Nearness to the river, cathedral and castle. Easy parking. Great architecture. Nice food served in a stunning setting. Above all, such cheerful and attentive staff.
Only niggle - as is the case with so many hotels - only one armchair in our room - and a superior one! We like to spend some time reading whilst away - it's a rare treat - but sitting on the bed, no matter how comfortable it is, is far from ideal. Even more so when you are in your seventies!

Excellent location. Super friendly staff. Historic unique building.
Breakfast was disappointing. There was a strange smell in some of the public areas. Parking was expensive.
