The kid's facilities and entertainment were great. We chose the hotel because of the kid's facilities. Although I found the water in the pools a little bit too cold. The football pitch and playground right next to the pool make it very convenient to combine pool fun and activity. We booked with breakfast included, otherwise self-catering. There was a lot of choice for breakfast which we liked. And there's more than a handful of supermarkets around the hotel which makes it very easy to get products for self-catering. All the staff were very nice and accommodating.

Unfortunately, we had a room right above the dining area, so we always woke up with the scratching of chairs in the dining area below our room in the morning. And it is quite loud and very busy at meal times. I think this could be easily fixed with covers on the chair legs, or velvet stickers. I, myself had to use earplugs. Around the pool area between the sun loungers there are no tables provided which made accidents like spilling and knocking over drinks glasses more risky. I found there could have been more electricity outlets available in the rooms.

Great kids pool with slides and a tent for shade in one of its corners, as well as a splash pool right next to it. Despite the size of the hotel, there were always sunbeds available by the pools, and queues at bars/restaurants weren't too bad at all most of the time. The food at the main restaurant was really good and diverse most of the time. The beach is not too far at all and is of good quality.

A lot of the staff weren't too friendly or helpful, particularly at reception (e.g. during our check-in, they didn't give us the safe key or the cards for the pool towels, they didn't ask us about our stay at check-out, the Mini Club staff except Maria looked fed up or totally uninterested in the kids most of the time, some of the cleaners wouldn't even say "Hello" back to us, etc. etc.). The air con in our room did not respond to the temperature setting: whether you set it to 20 degrees or 30 degrees, it blasted out air so cold that we would wake up in the middle of the night literally shivering; using it also resulted in a strong sewage smell filling our room. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired, e.g. the floor in our room had some else's hair on it when we checked in, and it was still there when we were leaving; we also watched restaurant staff push food off a messy table onto a floor without wiping either the floor or the table. The main pool is extremely small for the hotel size and very shallow too (I'm 5"2 and could stand everywhere in it), so you will not be able to actually swim - sometimes there was barely any space in it to stand still.
