This was the perfect spot for my three nights on the Island. I give e Ruben and Staff a big 10 out of 10. I plan on coming back kagoan, and this will be where I stay.
The bed could have been a bit more comfortable. Outside of that everything was great.

I liked that the rooms were themed making each one a unique experience for the guests.
Everything we needed : shops, restaurants etc were within 5mins!
The shared kitchen and terrace were gorgeous there was so much thought put into how things work in the kitchen to make it a good experience, everyone had their own cupboards/shelves and there were chosen points were people can share their goods if they don’t want/ need them anymore.
( One thing I did change for myself, to be more comfortable is the pillow. I used the square pillow because the normal pillows were too high for me.
That’s all.) but there were so many pillows to choose from. Special ones for side sleepers too which I thought was a nice idea.
I liked everything. 🤗

Well located . Close to a white sand beach , close to many restaurants . Nice common kitchen . Free parking not too far .

We loved the concept and the design of the room was just awesome (we were in Route 66, bike-themed)! On the practical side: the room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed, plenty of sockets, spaces for things, even the small bathroom was perfectly organised! The common spaces (kitchen and terrace with hangers) and shared devices (i.e. hairdryers) too are fantastically organised, with reserved spaces in cupboard and fridges, and a great waste prevention/recycling/sharing system. Ruben personally greeted us and explain how the everything worked, gave us suggestions (i.e. on where to park for free) and always took the time to chat with us and other guests. He was also super-helpful when we left some of our stuff behind! Also the location is fantastic. Right in Machico centre, with many bars and restaurant around, basically directly to the Praia de S.Roque (stone beach, higher waves, but still manned) and 5 minutes walk to the Praia de Machico (sand beach, protected bay, manned).
maybe add smaller spoons to the cutlery? but really, everything was great!
